The bolded bit to me says they are not really that happy with him. Nicks gives him a out via his comments about pre season, but states they want a LOT more. Internally I doubt they would be holding back as much, you don't need to strip a player down in public. Jonas knows he is playing like shit, I would expect his second half of the season to be a lot better. For all we know, he is possibly playing at 80%, rightly or wrongly we have persisted with him this far in.
