Understand Moore didn't have a great one but feel like he needs time to get into afl intensity and might pay off.

If lobbe doesn't offer us a great deal when Ryder comes back I would drop lobbe for butch/ harvey

I agree with your thoughts on Moore. Give him 4-5 games in a row as a final assessment of just what value he is to us.
Moore was actually performing in the 2s, so if we can't use that as an assessment tool for promotion then what have we got to help decide on promoting players?

On that same note, Butcher and Harvey have just not done enough to go up just yet. Harvey is admittedly closer.

I would be inclined to resolve our CHF problem by shifting Trengove there, and placing Ryder at CHB.
In that way Ryder could provide an alternative to Lobbe, should he suffer a now more frequent flogging.
Addtionally, if the Ryder/Trengove thing does not work, then they can just be swapped.

Jonas isn't even a shadow of the player he was in 2014. Totally out of form all year at AFL level
Schulz has been a downhill skier all year, strange for a player negotiating a new contract. Also, if he was that distracted by his wife being in hospital, he shouldn't have played, it's really that simple.
Mitchell for all his heart can't hit the side of a barn, AFL is just too high a level for him unfortunately

Moore's unlucky in the sense that the current selection merry go round is a joke but if fit Amon and Ryder need to play and O'Shea's a like for like selection.

Butcher has had his chances and failed. He is not gunna be a consistent AFL player so why bother persisting with him. He has been in horrid form in the SANFL as well playing as a backman. Time too look to Harvey, Shaw and Howard

Actually butcher's form at afl level has been pretty damn good. His stats for his first 24 afl games stack up against any key forwards you care to name. So your wrong about consistent in the afl... But he has had some horrid form in the sanfl , although a good game last week. Having said that I'm very happy if the team decides to bring in harvey over him..

I've said it before and I'll say it again , time in time out history has shown afl key forwards are developed in the afl , not the seconds.
