The short people are dead, long live the short people.

Kidding, a good change though with Mitchell out and Ryder in.

Was hoping for a minimum of changes. Now please let Ah Chee start instead of wearing the sub vest again.

X Plenty

Surely against a physical shutdown team like the swans Ah Chee won't be the sub again!
Get him in the guts early to do some much required bullocking work, not late when the game could be over.

1 change after the worst loss all season..

Can't do anything else since the maggies players only have a 4 day break.

I'd rather have Jonas than Mitchell in the side.

If only the Maggies game was on Friday or Saturday last week instead of Sunday, Clurey could have came in for Jonas.

What did you expect? us to play anyone else after fronting up on Sunday?
Which is bullshit programming by the SANFL and i noted last week. I didnt expect more than 1 change after they announced the SANFL side. No way were we going to play someone for 1/2 or 3/4 of a game and then sit him on the bench for the rest of the game.

Ah Chee has to get a full game. If they are going to bloody play Gus as a tagging forward, then I hope he strains a calf with 5 minutes to go and they have to cancel that and make him the sub or give the vest to the travelling emergency.

Jonas was never going to go anywhere.
We are really going to miss Mitchell's work ethic, repeat efforts, panic handballs to team mates under pressure, kicks to feet, snapping every goal opportunity he gets and slipped tackles...............

............said no one, ever.

I'm glad ken is giving arch and moore another week to prove their worth. Think we will really struggle against jetta and especially rohan who's been in good form. Quick but can also take a mark

Sorry to post it hear but for maximum effect, Macca is out, so Rick and Portia are doing the preview tonight at 6.30pm. Join in the show, I'll try and take live callers and answer tweets. $20 port club voucher is up for grabs

Call me crazy, but I hope Gus shuts down one of their damaging half backs and snags a few goals the other way.

Would love to see Arch get a full game but I don't think Gus would be the one lining up to be sub.

One would have thought the Swans will go shorter this week with no buddy and no tippet and they have drop ruckman Derrix, Not on your life

The Sydney Swans have made three changes for Thursday night’s encounter with Port Adelaide at the SCG. Into the side comes debutant Toby Nankervis, alongside the recalled Mike Pyke and Dean Towers.

In light of one-match suspensions handed out earlier in the week, Lance Franklin and Kurt Tippett will both miss for the first time this season. Tom Derickx has been omitted.

Nankervis, measuring in at 199cm and 101kg, has been selected on the back of outstanding form in the NEAFL and will be looked upon to apply his internally renowned aggression at the top level.

Out 198cms/102kgs + 201/105 + 204/96

In 199/101 + 201/104 + 189/87
not much height lost

He doesnt snag goals when he is given shut down roles. That's why I posted what I did.
