Nelson is a possibility but Sydney’s taller forward line gives Rotham the edge (he’d be a decent matchup for Blakey)

Curve ball is Hickey who looks to have overcome his ankle injury and is available for selection. Does he come straight back in and if so who does he replace?

Vardy has just started to come good but is that enough to retain his spot ahead of Hickey who was playing the better football before injury

Against Melbourne, I was not that impressed with Allen in defence. He played predominantly on a small during the night and came across confused and lacking in confidence too often.

Coupled that with Rotham playing on Lee and Lakeland on Sunday and he did a decent job. As did Nelson in defence. So it is good news that we have good depth to replace our captain.

Now anyone calling for Mutimer to come in obviously did not see his game on Sunday. He is probably number 1 candidate to be delisted as it stands right now.

Lloyd leading the league with play ons from a kick in. Can't say I remember seeing it done so well it stuck with me but he does it 6 times per game on average. Petch should be on the mark for those, putting big pressure on the moment he runs.
