Yeah i'm starting to think with Allen out we'll play 2 rucks.

Not that we need it. I'm sure Hickey can manage a game on his own and let Darling just do forward 50 rucking.

Swans paying 2.25 or something. Win win chucking a :pineapple: on that. WC Lose and you've got a consolation prize, win and who even cares, we're 9-3

To be fair the Bulldogs game is the first game we have actually had a proper flat track blowout.

Tbf also , the Waterman goals weren’t just out the back or joe the goose goals which can happen a lot on a flat track..

Yes don't think they should rush him in - he will get his chance - and Simmo does not usually bring players in to debut until they are physically ready. Otherwise it will be like leading him to the slaughter!

You sound like his mother getting worried over nothing ..

Probably Rotham for Hurn and then either the 2 ruck option with Hickey for Allen or they take the opportunity to go a smaller team and bring in Nelson who can play wing if Waterman is pushed up into the forwards (Smith a sneaky chance but I think they would go Nelson). Having Nelson would also give us the option of playing Rotham on a wing for periods as well.
I wouldnt mind seeing the 2 rucks again mainly because I would like to see them both cracking in for the job before Nic comes back. It would be a shame if Vardy is just doing enough so that Hickey doesnt get another look at it as I think he is the better option.
Cameron is nowhere near it IMO, just another fanciful inclusion from the warped mind of HTs proctologist who is looking at possible versions of Waterman out in the next 3-4 weeks. Jesus he is a dill.

.
My guess is our conservative MC will go Rotham and Hickey. When it SHOULD go Rotham, Hickey AND Ah Chee/Cameron.
From their performances in the WAFL last week, neither Cameron or Ah Chee would warrant selection. The forward line is starting to gel and I’d be loathed to start playing with it in terms of structure.

Cameron isnt ready for a full season yet but he is an aggressive, cocky little f##ker and he and Venables will at some stage be in the side.Whether that means playing some of these speedy skillful guys on wings or in the guts doesnt matter. We are getting more flair and more adaptability. When people [ me included ] call for some of these classy youngsters to come in they do so with an eye to the future.Highly talented players more often than not thrive on the big stage so we shouldnt be afraid to throw youngens into the cauldren.Looking at our side and thinking its set in stone is a mistake we didnt make last year.Even being in a position to have these types of discussions is a testament to WC list management. We bat deep!We are the new Hawthorn!

...We are getting more flair and more adaptability...

People can get football anywhere, okay? They come to West Coast for the atmosphere and the attitude. Okay? That's what the flair's about. It's about fun.

The minimum amount of flair isn't good enough. We want to express ourselves, don't we?

Nah i totally agree. Ah Chee played his worst game in about a month last week.

Cameron tackled, and that's about it.

Neither of them warranted selection with their performance, but i wouldn't mind Ah Chee being rewarded for his solid 3 weeks before that personally.

Keh??

Still raining in Sydney so a soft ground - we need either blistering speed or grunt. I am pondereing cameron or ah chee - goals will be worth a premium against the flood

Fine all weekend though and we play Sunday arvo? I would have thought the surface won't have a great deal to do with it (its size excluded).
