Disappointed with the output from Tucker, Lazz and to a lesser degree Stephens. Normally I’d give them all another week, but if Simpkin is back then it’s probably Tucker out.

Should we bring Phillips in? We won’t the clearance count without him. I do think I’d make him sub before shiels though.

Phillips didn’t even get a kick in our VFL vs VFL game today

He was superb today especially after half time.not flashy like LDU..

Absolute worst part for me was when Larkey tried to get him involved in a handball chain and he stupidly went for a kick under huge pressure and totally lost it, immediate rebound for a goal. Not up to the standard and never will be, we move on.

Will let the game marinate but here are the guys in trouble for mine:

- Laz - very humbly and not string around the ball - replacement would likely be Jy
- CCJ - Wasn't horrible for mine, but is about the only big guy we can throw forward and ruck - possible replacement Greenwood?
- Goater - - Need an actual small defender, so likely LMAC as a replacement, maybe Bergman;
- Tucker - just don't see it in him, only saving grace is he is a big body - replacement likely Will;

I would also say that the structure could be interesting. Could we make Cam a midfield rotation and do something different forward rather than play someone like Will.

Mate, he can’t ruck. Being tall and standing there doesn’t make someone a ruckman. Greenwood has performed better as a second ruckman. He at least halves the contest as much as he can and makes it hard for his opposing ruckman.

Need to see how the VFL boys go before we can say who replaces them but I'd probably bring in Comben and Greenwood for Corr and CCJ, probably Bergman for Goater and Phillips for Lazzaro
