Interested in what you fellas reckon on the matchups in our front half?? Bruce, Membrey, Roo, Billings and Gresham?

Fwiw we are only just going form wise as well.. should be a close one!
We'll play a zone with no hard and fast match ups. We'll turn the ball over and all our defenders who have set up offensively in front of your forwards will get exposed and concede multiple goals out the back

Let's not forget Riewoldt using the opportunity to tear us apart one last time.

I think saints play a similar style, I'm expecting both saints and melbourne fans will be getting very frustrated in this game.

Well the MCG better reinforce the seating then.

That's a good forward line with enough supply and they eventually kick straight! We need to win decisively in the middle but unless we somehow find form can't see that happening..

If Watts plays (shouldn't on form) he'd better put in something resembling effort. Just a look of intensity would be a start.

Git. I've spent Christ knows how many years defending this bloke. Its personal now.

When even PG is putting the blowtorch on you know said player needs to lift.

Brayshaw playing on a wing or half back and trying to stay out of the pack is actually what we really need right now. We need a better mix of outside players spreading and giving an option. I would also like Hannan back in the forward line, he is always good for a micro-snaps goal out of nothing.

Anyone not 100% can go out, e.g. potentially Salem. One of Pedo or Watts probably should go as well. Harmes actually attempted some lead up kicks but he needs to lay more tackles.

I'm concerned about our ability to create outside run that can beat the saints, and also our ability to kick enough goals.

On current form, our best hope is that it buckets down and a very slow, boring and low scoring game.

Now that our scoring has gone dry if we have one bad quarter we will lose. It's almost time to go back to Roos ball and try win 70-66

A big skill is being able to identify momentum and lock the game down as soon as you feel it against you.

We should be really well equipped for that, with our contested ball winners and dominant ruck but I'm not sure that we are there yet.

Our avenues to goal are really dry too, with limited midefield run and carry, Hogan out all year and Watts currently sucking arse.

I can't wait for Sunday, but am not confident..

We kicked 90 points against Carlton whilst losing the inside 50 count. We then won the count in our next four games and have not once scored more than we did against the Blues. Shows you how irrelevant the inside 50 stat is these days.
It's still important. Especially if you are playing a small forward, chaos ball set up. We make the most of it when we out manic pressure on defenders which result in bad turnovers and better quality entries and easy goals. The forward line we've had with Watts and Hogan in has ****ed that completely.
I'd like to see:
Jeffy TMAC ANB
Trac Pedo Hannan

JB just let slip on the rush hour that he is going on Sunday with his brother to watch the nephew. Tried to backtrack and say he doesn't know if he's in yet - but it sounds like he knows that Gus is in

I really hope we do not play Salem unless he is 95% or better. Cannot afford to carry him if his ankle is no good.

Out: Salem, Watts, Harnes
In: Brayshaw, Hannan, Stretch

I may be reading into things to much but James Brayshaw on triple M this arvo said "I'm going along to that game (saints and dees) to watch - corrected himself - hopefully watch Angus play"
