CHANGES VS THE SINNERS.

Hill out again is a concern... club need to do what they did for Sandi and give him an extended period of time off to get him right.
Only 27. So got plenty left in him, can get to 250+ games. Another 2-3 weeks off should be okay for him. Another chance for Grey/De Luca to prove their worth

But two speedsters in Langdon and S. Hill out really hurts us, particularly for as long as they have been. Would've been a better idea to bring in D. Pearce to counteract that.

Balkely's gone from playing in the seniors on a fine but cool day on Sunday to a cold, windy day pissing down with rain and possible thunderstorms and small hail... serves him right. Expect Kersten not to get a touch in those conditions either :thumbsu:

Hill management this year has been pretty poor by the club and himself. He should of been coming back into the side now after having more appropriate time off. He's an important senior to have in the side (when he's fit) with our current list - can't be bouncing him in and out when he's at 50-60% in desperation for points.

We lost to ******* Brisbane by 10 goals three weeks ago a bit more professionalism for a player on a six figure salary isn't much to ask for from the coaches.

Those coaches you're bagging have just dropped our best performing youngster to teach him a lesson about professionalism. I'm not sure what more you could ask from them.

edit: might have misinterpreted your criticism of the coaches as being meant for Blakely

Think that was a fair call from the club, particularly for an emerging player, to know he can't flout standards and still be picked. Can't have him thinking he can do whatever he wants as long as he plays well. Don't think that's the sort of culture you want to encourage, given how young our playing group is currently.

Happy they made the call. It's going to hurt us though. Blakely is an important part of the side now.

Yeah he is. Has emerged as one of our more consistent ball winners and users this year. Annoyed at the news, but this is a good situation to be in to teach these things to our future core. For sure it won't be just Connor who gets the "where it's at" lesson, many of his young peers will get a little wake up call as well in case they ever think of pulling some silly buggers.

I'm also glad they've stopped the SHill charade. The guy is clearly not right and it's just looked stupid to put him out there. I know we want his skills, but he can't keep up with the game and it's just been sad to seem him line up and under-perform in recent weeks.

Their decision has my support and understanding, some people have no idea how some of these workplaces work.

In my opinion, the Blakely suspension is a load of horse shit.

Didn't see Johnno get a week for belting a bloke and didn't see Bennell copping a week when he got booted from a flight for being pissed.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Pretty hard to get a week when its pre season and there are nil games or you've been out injured for 18 months.
