On seven just now Ross seemed to think that Sandi would play and that playing him and Darcy in the same team would be unlikely. Would be quite disappointed if Sean was dropped, just like I was when the other Darcy was dropped.

We all want to see Sean go round again and Ross himself described him as a shining light. He may not be on the injury list but he definitely hurt his elbow/shoulder when he came crashing down if you ask me. When it comes to the great Mr Darcy the spoiled brat in me wants instant gratification. But there's no point pushing him at this level if he's not 100%. Happy for him to recover at Peel if need be.

Crozier should never been moved from Half Back playing him forward always looking for the Specky mark but only ends up landing on his head.

In fairness to Croz going for the speccy marks produced his best passages of play against Geelong.

I agree with the last line and due to the absence of a decent KF/ruck, it's the way forward for us. But we do need to compensate for the lack of pace/mobility. Replacing Shero with Fyfe and Kerstin with Sandi doesn't do that imo.

Just on your assessment of Shero, was he really that useless on Sunday? A bit hard to tell on TV but I'd say he had a tight defensive role on someone so he was never going to get high numbers and I can't remember him making too many blunders. Thought McCarthy and Crozier were much worse and Shero probably at least cut a Cat out of the game or nullified them.

If Blakley can have the impact he is having and tagging/ being defensive side then Sheridan with extra years should piss it in.
He gets caught with the ball and his disposal is only effective kicking backwards to a loose man, no attacking in him.
He is poor.

If he's injured fair enough, but you have to reward good performances and he's been one of Peel's very vest all year. His debut was spectacular and there's no reason for him to be dropped.

Unfortunately he's a ruckman and that's the lot of a ruckman in AFL. Just like a goalie in soccer, you only need 1.

I hate to say it but Logue needs to go back with him. I have no doubt Logue will come good but right now he looks like a fish out of water. I'd leave him at Peel for the rest of the season. I'd like Tucker to be given an extended run in the backline. He had such a great game in the WAFL Grand Final.

Tbf, he's hopeless largely because apparently the rules of the game don't apply to anyone above 210cm. It's ridiculous that just because he's taller than everyone defenders get a leg up by being allowed to chop his arms.

Its funny because he still does some really nice stuff even while looking like that. Got a lot to learn though. Think he will come good.

I like De Luca and Ballas in the forward line. Both hard nuts, and gave us such needed pressure acts around the forward line, especially with the rebounding defenders. Kersten and McCarthy are hopeless in that area. Think Fyfe/Taberner as CHF will help, as they impact contests regardless if they mark or not. Perfect for crumbing. Kersten just doesn't do that.

Sandilands is hopeless in the forward line, even with his height. His hands are always too hard, causing to drop marks. Plus our game plan changes a bit in that we just bomb to him hoping he grabs that mark. While the players should be lowering their eyes and find targets. Sandi has two defender hanging off him (generally the spare defender) so there's going to be a few forwards one-on-one. It's an easy cop out to leave Sandi in the goalsquare, so predictable

Look like we ll be keeping Kersten/McCarthy all season, no matter how crap they're playing. Rubbish. So Tabs has one bad week and he's gone. Whereas the other two have played worst games then Tabs have this year, but hey that's okay

Darcy being dropped isn't the end of the world. Any AFL for him at all was just a bonus as he wasn't expected to be fit enough this season. Kudos to him for earning himself a game, but he also did tire significantly in the second half. To the point that by the end of the game he was good for the ruck tap but not much else beyond that. I'm just as excited as anyone else for him, but let's just cool our jets a bit.

On Logue, I think he should stay. I get that he looked like a deer in the headlights at some points, but he didn't look completely lost to the point where he was useless. It's not like say, Watts who was forced into it entirely to early and it did almost irrepareable damage to the first half of his career. In an odd way, I see Logue as being kind of like the first season of Stephen Hill: has clear ability, just needs to learn to read the play ahead of him a bit better. Persist with him for at least another block of 5 games. Especially a few at home.

Stephen Hill was a young jet from the start. There would not be one person that saw him in his first few games that would have doubted he was a 200 gamer in the making. The same can't be said for Logue, I think he'll make it but the doubts are legit.

Smalls and bigs develop differently. Not many bigs come in and dominate. (apart from Darcy) Logue has shown plenty at Peel. You wouldn't give 2 bob for English on his debut for e.g..
