Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but tackling could take several years to fix.

That would mean at some stage in the past 5 years it has actually been not broken. Make them sit and watch a mixtape of Sydney's tackling style each week until they get it through their skulls how to go about tackling.

The only good thing I can see coming out of this game is going back in history to 06 when we destroyed a Geelong team at AAMI with all their future premiership stars in it. Geelong were so impressed with how we dismantled them they used it as the benchmark of what they needed to achieve to take the next step. We have to use this Sydney game in the same way. Sando says we will never play like that again under him...that is a massive call and a bit delusional call if he keeps putting his faith in the same players each week.

Now is the time to be ruthless to set up the club. There are players playing now that aren't going to take us forward, they need to get the arse now so that we can spend the rest of the year finding out who can play with heart and effort each week and find something against the top teams.

Is a worry isn't it. If Reilly was out, which is probably unlikely, then he'd play the unaccountable role. Although Lynch would probably be better suited, because he at least will tackle.

The fact we could justify six changes from one week to the next is sort of crushing.

Need to keep Hendo, Smack, Martin in for the next 5 games at least as these games decide whether he will be a Crow in the future. Be good to give Grigg a taste of footy at the MCG, but only if Kerridge needs a rest.

Not sure why we would choose to bring in Riley. If we were going to bring him in we should have brought him in to play the two best contested footy sides in the AFL (Freo/Geelong). Richmonds style of footy is much more suited to our gameplan.

Leave Brown out so that he has a good 3 week rest and can play all of the games after the bye. Same goes with Mackay - let him fully recover.

We are an extremely young side. We will have yo-yo form all season. To be honest, I was more disappointed in Sando's coaching vs Freo. In that game we could have won if we he had made the right moves. Sando couldn't have done anything to stop us getting pummeled against Sydney.

If the crows are really going to say that he can't come up after a five day break. Surely they would be better telling him not to play on Monday and take the week as a rest and then bring him back for the tigers.

That way he gets the "rest" from afl that was needed this week.
