Damm right it was. Glad to see you finally admit it.

Build a bridge dude. Seriously, your life must be crap to permeate all this constant negativity.

Hence I doubt Thommo will play.

I reckon this too. He passed training today, but so did Mackay last week.

For selfish (DT) purposes I hope Crouch comes in, but for the actual team, I hope it's Lyons. Crouch can have this week off and play for Westies in the bye round. Taking Lyons over and not playing him seems redundant considering he had last week off, and he'd be missing a game for Glenelg.

Says the humorless, petchulant lady.

It's called a joke, you know....that thing that allows us to laugh - Bugger, I still haven't sent that PM to Allefgib. Must do that.

The Sloane Ranger
Richard Douglas
Dangermouse

Every other ground-level player (meaning not the Tall Timber) should have a question mark over their head....in big red letters. The Midfield/Flanks/Pockets need a deluxe-sized broom put through it. Bigtime. There are a couple of names that come to mind that need to be dropped - either for a rest, or a run in the Magoos to capture some form. Either way, a broom is needed.

There've been comments about Crows players in the SANFL needing to be brought in - needs to be done. Now.

Pets 0 tackles as the defensive forward.
Jenkins stunk
The Kedge needs a rest for Lyons
Radar has to go he has stunk for weeks
VB.
Find someone who can kick a goal. Lynch should have slotted that.

Those comments? Amen!

Can someone....anyone....please, PLEASE answer the following questions:
  1. How does our Captain Invisible (van Berlo) get the Captaincy?
  2. How does he keep his spot in the team?
I'd love to know the answer to these questions.
Oh, and while Radar isn't manned up, he does a great job....but the moment he's made accountable - we may as well give the opposition a goal.

  1. How does our Captain Invisible (van Berlo) get the Captaincy?
  2. How does he keep his spot in the team?
1. By all reports, he displays outstanding leadership abilities off the field. Apparently he is a role model for hard work and a professional approach. Apparently he is a very good communicator and can deliver a message that most understand and can follow. Apparently he says and does all the right things off the field.

2. He is the captain!

With some of the things the crows have done lately. It wouldn't surprise me if Lyons went over to melb then flew back to play sunday for glenelg.
Don't think it would be great preparation for someone trying to get back into a side but seems like something strange that the crows would do.

I think it's great they both get to go over. Road trip with the team. See the game in person. A clear signal to them that they are next in line. Cannot see any harm at all.

John Ridell reported Thommo in doubt with a hip problem in the news break.
So we've narrowed it down to hip, groin or quad.

Older player, needs a week off. Reckon we're just trying to hang on for the bye with him.

Callinan had more disposals than van Berlo last week - just putting that out there.
Yeah, but one's a midfielder and the other is a small forward.

Wait, what?

Van Berlo was shit last week. Which captain has been good every game?

Was Roo a good captain when he played a final, that many say he was not right for and shouldn't have played?

Roo was an 8 time All Australian, a Brownlow medallist, a 3 time Best and Fairest winner, the club Player of the Decade, and a premiership hero, when he decided to don that ugly red jumper for one last crack at it.

Somehow I think he earned it.

Problem is VB has been shit more than one game, almost as many as Reilly I reckon. Next year he can't be captain because we should be able to drop him if his form warrants it. More concerning is lack of a defined role. They won't play a hard tag and he's being thrown all over the place which isn't helping.
