Get the Bear in to force a contest in the centre. Need some muscle in their vs the tigers. Had a decent prelim against them if memory serves. Bring in the Pig to run with Cotchin and curb his influence.

I'd be trying to set up with Beams and Sidebottom occupying the wings, with Sier, Treloar and Greenwood at Brodies feet.

Assuming everyone gets through unscathed injury wise, I’d not expect too many changes.

One or two.

Usually a new type of player gets a couple of games so that might assist Callum.

He’d otherwise be the logical fall out guy. Just doesn’t quite look an ongoing senior player.

Logic dictates Sier and Greenwood to be the two in contention for the spot.

On that basis I’d think we would do better with vision and heavy traffic play of Sier than brown.

If Sier doesn't come in then it's official something is up because I didn't see us win many hard balls tonight, particularly when the game was on the line.

If Sier is deemed ready then he comes in for Brown. If not then Greenwood.

Sier averages close to 20 disposals per game and his ratio of contested to uncontested is higher than all our other midfielders.

Adams is second best and those two missing hurts us at the coal face.

With Elliott returning one wonders whether Varcoe is a luxury we can live without especially once Hoskin-Elliott and Adams are right to go.

It was your typical Varcoe game tonight, he produces some eye catching moments but fumbled a couple of times also that were costly.

Finished the night with just 9 disposals, 0 goals, 1 goal assist, 4 tackles, 1 1% and a lowly 37 metres gained.
