Himmelberg? Wash your mouth out.
Then give yourself an uppercut.
Please.

Maybe. No finals' wins even if we jag 7th/8th. Too many of our blokes go missing when the heat is on.

I agree.
Nicks has a brave decision to make. Prioritise/develop youth-first and jeopardise his job, or push for ladder position to keep it.
He should be having these conversations with the board.
Players like Nankervis, Cook, Dowling, Keane, Taylor (sadly injured) might have long term best 22 ability and reliability under pressure.
It's clear Worrell has it.
Players like McHenry, Sholl, Butts, Sloane are highly unlikely to ever be part of a premiership team.

The above will be supplemented by recruits in the next three years but ultimately we don't look to be ready to play finals.

Give yourself an uppercut if you think ROB put in an acceptable performance!

Time to try something different against the Eagles who have no decent ruckmen.

This is the week to bring in new players not reward poor performances.

Those would be good changes, but would probably leave Schoenberg as sub which I'm not too sure about. Would ideally like to see Schoenberg start and get some CBAs, see how he does. Sloane as sub for most of the rest of the year would work for me.
It would be nice if we could use the outgoing player as the sub instead of the incoming player.
Give them one last chance to perform instead of messing with a players form coming in.

He agreed with your ROB out post?

He agreed with your ROB out post?
No, he wow'd it, then told me to give myself an uppercut.

We could just swap Strachan in for ROB, but my preference is to try Thilthorpe with at least half of the ruck duties.

The other alternative is to play use Murray as 2nd ruckman, but we need him in defence.

We're not likely to take any selection risks while finals are a chance.

No new players for now. Forced changes only.
We need to get brave.

This week is a perfect opportunity.

Yeah sorry thought the like was his.
Think the uppercut was for himmelberg.
It would excite me to no end to try a different look with our ruck, one that doesn’t include himmelberg though.

Soligo is a bit in no man's land at the moment.

Sholl and Jones are getting the bulk of the wing time.

Murphy, Rachele, Rankine, Pedlar the small forwards/half forwards.

Keays, Sloane, Laird, Dawson the bulk of the centre square time.

He's getting bits and pieces of everything around the edges when others are off.

It's a good point we have not settled him in a role.

It's probably time we do for the next month as it's impacting on his form.

I would go back to play him as a wingman until he finds some consistency.

Knew it would not be good when saw the Crows app notification.

Doedee ACL

Probably played his last game for us.

Just terrible timing for the lad..

probably just wiped a heap of money off his potential contract value unfortunately.

and another example of the immaturity of the AFL when it comes to trades that costs the players..

I think its pretty obvious he is/was heading home at years end.. why the hell would he have not signed by now if he wasnt. Just makes no sense to risk exactly what has happened by holding off re-signing if he was staying at Adelaide..

so.. why is it that, like they do in the NRL, a player cannot announce to the world he is leaving the club (sometimes a year or more in advance in examples in the NRL) before they do?

why can NRL players do that and it has little to no effect on them getting picked week in week out from that point onward.. yet AFL players can’t?..

as it seems like AFL players fear being dumped into the reserves for the rest of the season if they do announce their intentions to leave at the end of the season…

What’s the minimum team we can pick to get a win? I’m looking to give as many players 2 weeks off as possible and bring in those players AFL standard to give them a run. None of these outs are playing SANFL.

Worrell in for Doedee
Crouch in for Sloane
Berry in for Soligo
Gollant in for Murphy
Cook in for Rachele
Hamill in for Sholl
Strachan in for O’Brien

Go the WWT Eagles.

Nicks has tethered his future to our current list. There's no more blooding.

Hence unless Berry, Schoenberg, Rachele and Soligo come on in a big way we'll have a new coach in 2025.
