RoB's form is bewildering to me.
Last week he played really well against Brisbane, producing some of his best tapwork to (our) mids on the run. Good around the ground too.
Last night he was woeful. I can't explain it (his inconsistency).

Witts has always had Rob covered and Saturday night was no different

Thilthorpe as the lead ruck would get absolutely pumped. I mean we could get away with it against the Eagles probably, but why? Totally unnecessary change, Thilthorpe should be splitting time between up forward and relief ruckwork, he's not particularly good as a ruckman and is a big threat in the forward line.

We should isolate him deep if it’s dry this week and try and get him in 1 on 1s

He’s shown he can get on a roll , been unlucky with slippery conditions in a few Games

I don't see the benefit in playing Strachan as a sub.

If a player gets injured early in the game what then? Having him as a sub offers us absolutely zero flexibility.

From what I have seen of Strachan he shouldn't even be on our list still, he's garbage. The only reason he's still at the club is because our abysmal list management as we have zero backup for ROB.

Yeah I have changed my mind on that.

Strachan might not be good, but we know ROB can't be part of a successful finals push. So why not at least expose Strachan to see what he can do? He's yet to be given a clear run at it.

It really is a huge failing of our recruiting that we have ZERO developing rucks. We must be the only team in the comp that haven't bothered with this part of the field for a decade.

You know I think this has been discussed before, quite a few reckon we didn’t need more rucks on the list. Another one would be handy right about now…..

Crouch is done, a waste of time and list spot. He’s gone at the end of the year and we shouldn’t waste another minute on him, it’s been a sad end to his career

Yeah, I don't agree - I still think he was scape-goated when our entire team was shit, and deserves an extended run to try and save his spot/career.

If he can regain his AA form, he's worth having; or at least might get SOMETHING in a trade.

Crouch is getting lots of possessions in the two's but with little impact. I liked him earlier, but he's done now. A change of clubs may help his career.

If he can regain his AA form, he's worth having; or at least might get SOMETHING in a trade.

His last game as sub he had half a game and had negative metres gained with one clearance and mostly uncontested possessions. His style can’t adapt to the modern game, he’s done.

Nah. Very similar to Sloane. Players just run off both. Berry is the one but he has been terrible this year. Don't know what has happened to him but he has gone backwards. Maybe he has been put out by the club prioritising Sloane. We need to keep running Soligo, Pedlar, Rachele, Jones through the middle and give Schoenberg one last shot. They should also give Dowling some games as he looks the goods. Dawson and Laird is enough experience in there to fast track the young blokes.

We should have brought in a young development ruck at some stage in the last couple of years. You should always have a back up ruck ready to go if you get an injury to your first ruck and then a younger developing ruck who will eventually be ready to take the lead role.

Unles of course they see Thilthorpe as our future first ruck.

Agree and I was a fan.

But he’s not the future, and he’s not even the present. Adds zero value to the side now.

It’s one of the more obvious black and white calls to me. I’m surprised when supporters can’t see it.

I’d rather they pick Hately and I’m not excited to see him in the side at all.
