Goater has to come in, even if he can only last 39.3% of GT. Xerri can never take another CB, just ridiculous contemplating that he can turn it around in there.

We just have to bite the bullet and acknowledge some of our guys aren't up to it. Hardeman is only loss from these outs.

I advocated for a head on a pyke post the Adelaide game. We need to drop senior players. We need to shoot a some sacred cows right between the eyes.

Hard to get a read on what might happen. After the Adelaide game we stuck fat but think something more drastic might be needed this.

We went in tall vs Freo but allowed an alarming number of marks inside 50. The oppositions ability to convert i50 to scoring opportunities remains our biggest issue. Hoping we throw some magnets around and look at a different structure that might allow us to defend the ground better. It's very likely that we just see changes come from last week's emergencies as GR has indicated, but I'm hoping to see a bit more.

Love to see what Harvey can do. But let’s be real...he ain't it either. He has one pace, and to put him on a small forward and expect him to shut that player down isn't going to get it done.

Hopefully his great use will at least give us some movement out of defence.

I think it will be 2-3 changes - Blamires and Pink will come in for Hardeman and Dawson. The third option would be Harvey in for Fisher.

Harvey is there as we need 25 fit players on hand in case of injuries at training etc. Dawson and Fisher stay over there and act as the game day emergencies.

And if they are not needed for the senior team then they catch the late afternoon flight back and play in the VFL on Sunday.
