So we have a much needed break ahead of us.
Who will we have back in 2 weeks time?

Hoping for something like this.

In: Wells
Out: Ray

Tough call of if we should bring Waite straight back in?
Petrie seems the likely candidate to make way, but those two play well together.
Perhaps Drew is suffering bad form from Waite not being there.

Should Majak come back in the side? Probably should have played tonight to help out Goldy.

Definites...
In: Wells, Waite
Out: Nahas, Ray

Firrito gets a gig cos of the West Coast talls...unless Hansen comes in?
Clarke has to be considered.
Also have to consider playing Daw on a dry track.

Maj in for Drew
Wells for Ray
Clarke for Gibson

Not sure if we can afford to bring a debutant in against WCE.
Must win game and Gibson's running ability could be useful on the big ground.
Don't mind the idea of Maj coming in, plays well at Subi from memory.
Hopefully they play Giles in the ruck again against Goldy and Daw lol

Ins: Wells Waite Anderson
Out: Petrie, nahas ( shouldn't play afl again for us if we're serious) Ray

Would be good if Hansen, Clarke, Anderson and co. could have a decent next 2 weeks and push for a spot on the plane over to the west.

Wouldnt mind seeing it like this, but will wait to see how next 2 weeks go:
Hansen > Firrito
Anderson > Nahas
Wells > Ray
Waite/Daw > Mullet/Wagner

OUt: Petrie, Ray, Nahas,
IN Waite, Wells, Andersen,

Firrito might miss for whack.

Dont like having both Bmac and Mullet in the side, but no one to replace them...

such a mess

We aren't dropping Drew. Simple.

IN: Waite Wells Anderson
OUT: Nahas Ray Mullet

B: McKenzie Thompson Firrito
HB: MacMillan Tarrant Atley
C: Wells Dal Santo Anderson
HF: Harvey Waite Ziebell
F: Thomas Petrie Brown
R: Goldstein Swallow Cunnington
I: Wood Gibson Dumont Wagner

Knowing North they'd probably drop Wagner. But * we need some outside run. Jed has to play if he gets thru this week.

We've got 19 days till our next game, according to Brad. He was informed by Walsh who was told by Jmac.

AFL not happy as game is in 17 days. Expect retraction tomorrow. Schedulers said to be fuming.
AFL fixturing dept seething at the perceive attack on their integrity.

I put forward 1 further change to your side....Drew Petrie to play down back

IN: Waite Wells Anderson Clarke
OUT: Nahas Ray Mullet Firitto

B: McKenzie Tarrant Thompson
HB: MacMillan Petrie Atley
C: Wells Dal Santo Anderson
HF: Harvey Wood Ziebell
F: Thomas Waite Brown
R: Goldstein Swallow Cunnington
I: Clarke Gibson Dumont Wagner

Out: Petrie, Nahas, Ray, Mullet

In: Waite, Daw, Clarke, Anderson

Spud is on his last chance, absolutely giving us nothing.

B: Firrito, Tarrant, Atley
HB: Mckenzie, Thompson, McMillan
C: Clarke, Swallow, Gibson
HF: Wagner, Waite, Boomer
F: Thomas, Daw, Wood
Foll: Goldy, Ziebell, Cunnington
Int: Anderson, Dal Santo, Brown, Dumont

Brown to go nowhere near the ruck. Ziebell to spend more time at FF. Clarke/Anderson to give us more run and carry.

A fit Waite is straight in.
As is Wells.
If Anderson does well you'd put him in over Nahas.

Out go Rays, Naha and Wagner.

Petrie is not going out to fit Daw in, wtf?

Petrie takes the best defender every week.

Out: Ray, Nahas, Gibson, Wagner

In: Waite, Wells, Anderson, Clarke

Lets see how the VFL goes but I think the very least:

Out: Wagner, Ray, Nahas
In: Wells, Waite, Anderson (heres hoping)

Would think EVW, Daw and Hansen are next in line with Mullet, Spud (report?) and Petrie on the block

Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I posted. Having a crack at what I think should happen (in my opinion, we all know it wont). Is this fair?

IN: Garner/Anderson (whoever shows more in VFL + is fit), Wells, Daw, Waite
OUT: Nahas (dropped), Ray (Concussion/dropped), Petrie (Managed), Goldstein (sore)

B: McKenzie Thompson Firrito
HB: MacMillan Tarrant Atley
C: Wells Dal Santo Ziebell
HF: Harvey Wood Dumont
F: Thomas Brown Waite
R: Daw Swallow Cunnington
I: Garner/Andersdon Gibson Mullet Wagner

Points of interest:

  • I'm sorry but goldstein looks very sore still and would prefer he had a nice break to freshen up for second half assualt
  • Hansen could come in for Mullet but would be too tall / slow down back?
  • Daw must not go into the forward line. Daw plays ruck and rotates through ruck rover / BB helps in the ruck.
  • Our focal points up forward are Brown, Waite & Wood. They all need to give each other space no spoiling each other!
  • Waite + Wood can push up the ground to mark and swing around, BB to make FB nervous closer to goal.
  • Wagner showed great aggression and tackling pressure for a small kid - so well done.
  • Dumont is slowly building momentum.
