I actually feel bad for you guys this season, our injury list is bad but that's just devastating.

Glass half full approach - Eagles were always going to fall down the ladder soon, so if they're going to fall, might as well fall hard and enjoy the better draft picks and extra development they're getting into their players. Connor West looks like a future gun but never would have got the opportunity if Shuey and Yeo weren't missing most games.

Sucks when the season is taken from your control like that, but I think the club will be better for it

I have no issue with them staying in. I hope Cleary in particular gets a lot of games this year.

You do have unlucky guys but neither Cody or Doc have shown enough form this year to come in over 2 guys performing well

If English is 100% he should come in, but not sure who goes out. Could be the week to try the English/Sweet combo just to see if it has any legs at AFL level.

No one really springs to mind to be dropped in general. Not a fan at all of Cordy forward but he’s obviously doing something Bev rates. West might be the one for Weightman, but I rated his contested work tackling yesterday and we’ve been not great jnnthe contest around the ground this year.

Would be my preferred option too but seems that English isn’t keen on playing forward and the coaches rate him more as a ruck than forward this year.

We let each of those have a run of goals at one point or another. Even North had a 5 goal quarter against us. We also seem to have a frustrating habit of giving up goals in the last few minutes of each quarter, after a solid 20 mins of keeping them out. A cruisey win would be nice for once.

I really don't think starting on bench matters these days. It's simply someone must start there and everyone rotates through anyway. You often see b&f winner from 2020 starting on the pine, as well as Baz at times.

Would love to see this. Having English/Sweet’s height up forward would really assist Naughton, without weakening the ruck.
