Got to give Grigg a shot next week. If indeed it's his attitude at training that's having him held back then maybe throwing him into the fire against the Eagles and letting him get knocked around a bit might be what sends the message he needs to work harder off the field.

Meh.. that was just payback for the blunder they made earlier, calling the other one touched when it clearly wasn't.

Angle A showed that Murphy was the only player who could have possibly touched it before the line.
Angle B showed that Murphy missed it by the better part of 2 feet - and Gorringe touched it behind the line.

End result - 2 wrong scores, but we came out with the correct net result of 1.1 from the two decisions.

Probably our 3rd least effective player for the game - only Vince & Jaensch were significantly worse. Better player (Pets) available and likely to be brought straight back in (doubly so as he's evidently one of Sando's favourite players). What's ridiculous about it?

We need defensive pressure( when opposition has ball) next week. I don't think we have enough of it, I don't think we have had enough all season. I don't know if Grigg will offer us that? I know that a fit Petrenko will offer us that and a few free balls to west coast from brain fades and free kicks.

Should probably rest Thompson at some point.

Vince won't be dropped on the back of today's performance. He's had quite a few good games prior to today and it takes more than one bad performance to see a senior player dropped.

McKernan could well return next week, given that the Weagles have a pretty good ruck department. Forgot about that possibility..

I think that every game he has played he is getting better and better (or less worse). He isn't the best player in the world but he is kind of versatile, can place him up forward as a crumber or can put him down back.
