Well it hasnt been tried before, so there is no wat to know unless someone tries it. Obviously its going to be harder to try now that Kerr is back aswell, but I thnk its worth a shot. If Judd kills us in the opening qtr, then revert back to traditional methods. The thing with Judd is that he get alot of his damaging possesions around clearences. So if we limit this, we are already ontop.

We have traditionally gone head to head against West Coast and it's worked.
Jobe again, along with JJ and Hird are they keys. If we can get our hands on it at stoppages we give ourselves a sniff.

My point is that they try to tag the guys that dont usually get tagged, see how they handle the pressure. We cant effectively tag Judd, so why not put our resources towards tagging the lesser players. Surely we would be better off using 3 of our players to stop 3 of theirs, than using three of ours to stop Judd. Its common sense.
Because if we don't tag Judd, he kicks a bag of goals and it won't matter what the other players do, or don't do.
We have to limit Judd's impact at stoppages, if we don't, he'll kill us.
I wouldn't have thought that common sense would tell anyone not to try and limit the effectiveness of the best player in the competition.
Priddis doesn't hurt as much as Judd does.
Fletcher hardly hurts at all.
McVeigh tags every week, we don't actually lose anything if he plays on Judd. Likewise Slattery on Kerr.

teams have attempted the non judd tag, it doesnt work. Brisbane did it for a quarter a couple of years ago and judd got something like 10possetions and 5 goals in a quarter. He has to be tagged there is no other option.

judd has been left open before. I think brisbane did it for a quarter a few years back and judd kicked 5 goals and got 10 possetions in a quarter. He just cant not be tagged. Taggers do slow him a bit, but with out one essendon dont have a player to do as much damage as judd would un tagged.
