Funny how my meltdown last year now looks pretty justified.

Byrnes is also possibly one of the worst footballers I've seen in the last few years for us, as is Gillies.

Not sure why people think mediocre players from good sides will do a job at bad ones. At least Chris Heffernan was an average player.

If they're shit throughout the season then feel free to write them off. But give them more than 2 games. Easy to pot them after a few shockers but they aren't alone.

In:Rohan Bail, Luke Tapscott , Neville Jetta , Cameron Pedersen , Michael Evans
Out: David Rodan, Tom Gillies (groin) , Sam Blease, Jack Watts, Daniel Nicholson

Blease and Watts dropped. Sending a message.

Official Changes:

In: Bail, Tapscott, Jetta, Pedersen, Evans
Out: Watts, Gillies, Rodan, Blease, Nicholson

Pretty fair, although Watts stiff to miss. Sellar a very lucky man to keep his spot.

For the Weagles:

In: Kerr, LeCras
Out: Sheppard, Dalziell

Well, at least we get Watts being dropped out of the way early in the season

It's probably good for him to find some confidence after last Saturday though.

Toumpas survives. Don't mind that, as shit as we are and as little impact as he's had, i'd prefer to see him stay in.

Not sure why the Weagles would want to risk LeCras and Kerr against us to be honest. Good to see more run in our side, but not real happy about Blease getting the arse.

Edit: Jamar surely on very thin ice.

I'd rather he be dropped, I thought Neeld was all about not gifting players games...

Or does he have double standards?

Fair point, although the 5 that have been dropped well and truly deserved it, and we could have dropped a few more too. Happy for Toumpas to get another crack.

Black and Brown cones are rarely manufactured, too hard to see in the dark.

I like the players that have come in.

Jetta, Evans, Tapscott, Bail, Pedersen.

Two of those bolster the midfield - especially the ability to run.

Pedersen can take a mark or two.

Despite Jetta never really performing brilliantly I've always felt that he's looked comfortable taking the game on.

Bail I like.

I just cannot fathom how Jack Watts gets dropped after being moved everywhere around the ground and then being subbed. Neeld just doesn't like him.

Watts gets dropped because he's a pea heart who hates contesting and hasn't even had a kick in 2 weeks (the only thing he's good at).

Time to forget his #1 draft pick tag , his career is at the crossroads.

I don't mind the INs.

But Jamar is the luckiest man on the planet.

Sounds a bit like another blonde prick, and he's still getting a gig 10 years in.

Yeah, there's no discernible logic to it. I mean, you could argue in isolation that Jack going to Casey for the moment is about building confidence, but being moved all over the ground and then being subbed would be at least part of the reason for his lack of confidence.

If I see Neeld flush at the camera again and go 'naaaaoooh, Jeck will work throuuugh this with connfidence' I'll flip.

I'm a bit baffled by it as well, but when you watch his first 2 games he clearly hasn't been working hard enough. I don't think moving him around the ground helps, but then I don't think any of us could make a strong case as to why he shouldn't have been dropped.

If Sylvia does not spend 100% game time in the guts and get 20+ disposals he should be gone, never to return.

I just cannot fathom how anyone could justify keeping Watts in the side. Surprised he's even listed as emergency to be honest.

There's plenty of reasons for criticizing the club at the moment, but dropping pretty well our worst performer isn't one of them.

Changes make sense, and the guys coming in all worked to get the call-up.

Honestly why the hell is Sellar still in the team, that angers me so much. The bloke can't take an uncontested mark..

No, you're right. Well, at least you might be if we had.

Watts was no where near our worst on the weekend. Also shocked that Blease gets dropped.

Sylvia and Byrnes should count themselves very lucky.

Thank Christ Gillies and Nicho got dropped.
