Sorry, being a spaz, Watts and Sellar. Would rather drop Sellar and make Watts play forward. Just get Sellar out! If he drops a mark this week I am going to crack it.

Ha ha, I thought that might have been the wrong player.

And I agree, Sellar is very, very lucky. He's dropped more marks than he's taken so far this year.

At least we dropped some height for this match. Though wouldn't be suprised if Watts is a late change.

Would be just his luck. Keeps on getting his role changed in the side, doesn't perform gets dropped. Expects his role for the week is to watch from sideline, changed at last minute.

Not sticking up for him. Didn't he start playing good footy last year after a run at Casey

Glad Terlich did enough to hold his spot. In relativity not the hardest of quests I'll grant you.

Evans can use the footy can't he? Although I'm hoping to see our mids use each other a bit more.

What annoys me is that Watts is dropped to get some confidence... and yet is NOT playing for Casey this week.

I swear to god, if he doesn't come in as an emergency...

Yeah that's what i find so baffling. Surely you can't have him sitting out a week stuck with his thoughts. If you're going to drop him at least let him go dominate the vfl.

He is a better user than Nicholson, let's put it that way. He seems to be a direct replacement for Blease. Not as quick but will find much more of the footy and deceptively handy over head as well.

Terlich more than deserved to keep his spot. Looked good under immense pressure last week.

Since when did nuffies get rewarded for woeful performances ? Answer 2013 at nuffyland being Melbourne.

List of 40 and dees must have close to 15 including recent tried recruits in Gillies, Rodan, Seller, Byrnes and Pederson.

Then we have FItzpatrick, Tynan, Taggert, Strauss, Dunn, Davis with a few who have been around about to join these nuffies in nuffyland.

Blease was disgusting sat night, any chance he could stand next to his man ? Nah, I will just watch him collect disposals at will. Watts played and also disgraceful. Round one not one of he backs wanted to pick up Westhoff, they walked around like headless chooks, someone had to take ownership, stand up and apply yourselves u nuffies.

Gillies couldn't touch it in a good side at geelong let alone nab cup practice matches, never to play again.

Blease has loads of ability, we know that, won't hurt him to play a full game in vfl, rather have him fit than stuffed.

Jamar needs a rocket, go crunch big fella, smash some packs or f.off to the twos and work out if footy is for u, playing like a cream puff right now. No pressure to hold your spot, that's about to change, u might be watching round 4 cause Cox has something u lost, a heart !

Tapscott, enough is enough, u were recruited to play Afl senior footy, give us 4 quarters, nail a few blokes, get in the middle with Jonesy and go crunch, lay some tackles and get it to the big fella at FF. while your in there clear a passage for viney occasionally, show some leadership. Nail Kerr opening bounce.

The 22 that play this weekend must aim for 25 tackles a quarter minimum, special note Slyvia, lay 20 on your own. Show some leadership in the hard areas or f.off

Allegedly Jack won't be playing for Casey - seems like he'll be the 'on site' emergency.
Says everything you need to know.

Neeld doesn't like Jack Watts, and will give him away for nothing if he gets the chance.

Never known a bigger prick to be associated with this club in years.

Absolutely all talk.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I think both need time to build their confidence.

But there's a trend with Neeld to give players he labels as 'competitors' ie. no skill a lot more of a run then other players who have to 'learn the hard way'.

A perfect example is James Strauss last year, played 7 or 8 games in a row - had one poor game against Adelaide and was dropped instantly.

Maybe he thinks he needs to be tougher on the players with talent, I'm not sure.

For the record having an entire crowd jeer at you would not be a tolerable experience, regardless of how big a boy you are.
He wants players to play to their potential, so he recruits footballers who do it from the pure virtue of having none to start with.

Sam Blease will do a million better things than Toumpas at his age.

I can't understand the logic in throwing toumpas to the wolves week after week. He's not ready, not by a long shot.

Watts has recently lost his grandfather - and all that that entails. He has also been ill with the same lurgy that laid low a few other Demons. There's a case to be made that he shouldn't have even been playing the last 2 weeks. Perhaps the club is just trying to give him a week's "Time Out".

Conjecture.

You know nothing about Neeld's relationship with Watts, opinion of him, or plans. Nothing.
What I see is what I see, also appears to be what my dad sees and he and I barely talk football.

Would be a dull board if Neeld was the only one allowed an opinion...

Ridiculous. Like losing a grandfather makes you play that bad, if anything that kinda thing is supposed to fire a player up, certainly don't see why he would need a week off because of it.

It really depends, people react in different ways to loss.

If Watts isn't playing VFL this week surely he will be a late change? Making him sit on the sideline is pointless!

Don't understand the Watts dropping, hardly any of our players run into space, Watts is one the rare ones that does. Neeld really doesn't like players on the spread.
