Out: Walker, Matt Carr, Cook
In: Farmer, Schammer, McPharlin

Dodd is about our most consistant defender and i'm also sick of people rubishing Grover he is our best defender

Harsh on Dodd IMO. Wasn't the worst, had a great first quarter...

Walker will go, Cookie will probably get dropped, MCarr will likely stay...

McPharlin will have to come in, The Wiz is a no-brainer, Schammer might still get another week in the WAFL, Murphy's 8 goals today might get him looked at....

aaahhhh I dunno.... :(

I agree. Reckon Scham will be straight in with the Wiz but.

I also want Murphy back in the side we need his Golden boot pavs gone off the boil with his kicking and taz is just kicking like taz

I like Warnock I think hes a very good ruckman but at this stage of there careers Sandi and Warnock can not play in the same team. They give us nothing in the forward line when resting there. Bring in Murphy or Campbell and use pinch hitters in the ruck. Thank god Wiz is back the club suspension didnt hurt him it hurt the fans more. Thornton at the moment is not strong enough to play on talls and not agile enough to play on smalls. Dodd I thought was pretty good he gave us good run and showed some pace.
IMHO
out : Walker, Cook, Warnock, Thornton
in : Murphy, Farmer, McPharlin, Schammer (or leave Cook in if not ready)

I agree with Warnock. I generally feel that we are short on midfielders and thats how we get over run. Carlton only have Hackland to contend with, so Murphy in for Warnock.

Why isnt MJ used as a part time ruckmen, Hes certainly tall and athletic enough

Time to go into bat for my buddy, I reckon Doddy has been played out of position. He's not a key defender, he's a defensive midfielder. I hope Matty Carr is okay, but I'd like to see him miss the rest of the season and play Doddy as a tagger and bring in Drum or Duffman to play down back. I felt sick when I saw Matt Carr positioned inside 50 in the first quarter, what a ****ing joke.

Warnie was okay and should play against the blues.

Thornton struggled, but it's not his fault he had to play on the best player on the ground for the whole game. Any other coach would have tried 2 or 3 blokes on Brad Johnson.

Walker played pretty well I thought, but that should be his last game. We need to have one eye on the future instead of playing guys who give 100% but aren't going to influence the result.

I am not saying Warnock hasnt played well he has but with both he and Sandilands in the side and the fact neither can take a contested mark in the forward line we can not afford to play both. No side in the league plays two players who ars solely ruckman. Sides play 1 ruckman and 1 player who is a ruckman/ pinchhitting forward or forward/ pinchhitting, ruckman at the moment we have 2 ruckman, both very good ones mind you. Its team balance. Last night we lost Carr early and with 2 ruckman we virtually had only 2 guys left on the bench.

Warnock more than holds his own. His games to date have been great.

I wouldn't be dropping him any time soon.

To say our midfield seems to be one man down is true. But thats because of the quality running through there. Dropping Warnock and giving the midfield an extra player is a short term fix.

Most good teams have two quality ruckman. Yes one usually pinch hits forward. But only occasionally.

Warnock has to play as much of the season as possible. He has more than held his own in the games he has played and doesn't hurt our clearances when he goes into the ruck. He's taken some pretty good marks and is a very good kick for goal.

But the main reason he needs to be there is that Sandilands will not get through another 10 (+ more hopefully) weeks if he has to carry the same workload as he has in the first 12 weeks. No good running hm into the ground, especially if we aren't going to play finals. Big men take a long time to recover from injuries, particularly if they are stress induced.

My ins/outs

Out - Crowley, Cook, Walker
In - Farmer, Schammer, McPharlin

I think we need to find a way to get Campbell or Murphy in too - take a bit of pressure of Pav and Taz, and hopefully increase our accuracy, but I can't find a fourth player to drop at the moment

IN: Foster, McPharlane, Collard, Schammer, Ibbotson, Farmer.
OUT:M Carr, Thornton, Headland, Walker, McManus, Cook.

Time to look to the future!

Saw a link on the footygoss web site that Foster was promoted, but there is no article to go along with it.

Unlikely to bring both Farmer and Collard into the same side at this stage.

Schammer must be close to getting a call up though! I wonder where they would play him at this stage though, hopefully it's not in a back pocket. Roger is near AA form at this stage of the season!

Headland and Schammer will alternate between half forward and the wing.

Tarrant has apparently got in a fight at a Darwin Pub. I'd drop him for a game.

OUT: Tarrant, Cook, Walker, Mundy
IN: McPharlin, Murphy, Farmer, Schammer

Hayden McPharlin Johnson
Dodd Grover Black
Peake J.Carr M.Carr
Headland Pavlich Solomon
Farmer Murphy Thornton
R: Sandilands Bell Hasleby

Int: Warnock, Schammer, McManus, Crowley

Um, Matt Carr anyone????

Matt Carr will have a fortnight to recover. His form has been crap, but unfortunately he'll play against the blues.

Where did you here that rgauci? If it's true he has to be dropped for the game against the blues. The club did the right thing by dropping Farmer, the steps that they have taken to improve the culture at the club will be undone if they don't take action against Tarrant.

Good move. Every player who won't be here next year shouldn't get a game for the rest of the year. Share it between the young blokes. Also send Matt Carr back to the WAFL for at least 4 weeks and have Dodd/Josh Carr or a young fella do the tagging.

Have one of Murphy or Cambell playing as a legitamate full forward and give Pav and Tarrant licence to get there kicks further up the ground if they need to.
