Cheap shot. Power as a lock down is more than competent. The criticism of him isn't that his opponent beats him or plays well, it's his so called lack of decision, the safe option, that his offensive game lacks confidence. Players rotate, particularly Power who will spend time in defence, through the middle and probably as a negative forward as well where he invariably has a hand in a number of goals. I read somewhere that he's up near the leaders in the competition in inside 50's. A good move to bring him back in.

Power isn't the worst on our list, in fact he is probably just outside the best 22. My only criticism of Power is that he is a mediocre player, and doesn't add that much to our team. These are the sort of players that can stay on your list for years and never actually improve - like Tivendale from Richmond. But with the amount of injuries in the team at the moment and playing so many young guys, i don't have a problem with Sam being selected. At least he has something to play for - his future.
