Might be time for a change, what are the rules on name changes??

If you've got Gold or Premium, you get one free name change, but any other name change you make to make a donation to charity for and send the receipt to Chief, or something.

I probably should. I was reading a thread once and suddenly my name popped up and I thought, what the hell? I didn't write that.

Someone whose been here longer than me has the exact same name, except without capitals in it.

I reckon I thought of 20 better names once I registered but, by then, I couldn't use them . All were were some kind of piss take on Carlton, Carlton players or footy. "imadodgyumpire" was the "best" I thought of at the time, very disappointing .

I dont think I would change mine...there are apparently a few other Gasometers that have had to add numbers to the end of their avatar...but I havent actually seen any of their posts.

Besides, I celebrate my 10th BF anniversary this March...I joined admist the Wayne Carey affair. The old Nth Melb board had recently closed...a mate suggested coming here to vent my spleen about the disaster at the time...I think my first ever post was about the mess that the Club found ourselves in the night of his resignation...10 years flies!

I have, twice.

My first name was my last name, a very unique Greek one. Then I changed it to something pretty embarrassing that I would rather not reveal. Now I'm just my first name with the start of my last name with Jono Brown's number on the end. Fair to say all my usernames have been thought of when I was in an immature stage of my teens and if I was to have my time again, I would probably come up with something far more creative and intelligent. Perhaps a clever play on words, anything to suggest that I am somewhat funny and smart.

Mine was a fourth or fifth choice after my original preferences were taken. I didn't put much thought into it.

A few times I've thought about changing my name to something witty or clever, but I'm not really witty or clever enough to come up with anything satisfactory. Plus my current name has grown on me.

Wait, you're onyacoxy? I thought that guy just got sick of us making fun of him and left.

I went from Quinzate1 to Quinz, which is what people called me anyway, and is a better name.

Now everyone calls me Q. Bastards.
