channel 7 Perth screw us again

What total bull********, as much as I hate USC & FWW, I still like to watch talking crap just in case someone says something intelligent or informative.
But tonight fellow Perth people, it isn't being shown here at all, instead they have F@$&ing cricket on

Channel 7 aren't too popular...

From cricket lovers - 7 won't be showing as much 'live' coverage as people over west would of liked. The programming director made this decision based on the ratings from the 2 one dayers played.

Non cricket lovers - Talking Bruce/Footy got the chop tonight due to England vs Pakistan cricket match.

mantis - did you see Roy and HG's view on the cricket last night? It was Hilarious!

Talk about shafted, was looking forward to TF last night only to be put to sleep by cricket.

Perth football fans get a raw deal regards to TV coverage, we even get a delayed telecast from time to time when one of the local teams plays in Melbourne.

Let's hope things improve next year.

Im boycotting TF, and have been for about 7 weeks now. ONly going to watch if somone from EFC is on.

Id much rather go to sleep than sit through USC and FWW (im assuming f.uck wit walls- but correct me if im wrong mantis) spouting out their respective biases and thinly veiled cheap shots at clubs they dont like. its pure ********e.

oh and mantis one other thing- I think ch7 has done pretty well by us this year- half way through the season and have had all our 11 games televised- not a bad effort I reckon.

OK I agree they have been putting a lot of our games on, but I am talking about the panel shows. I rang to complain about the Sunday Footy Panel not being shown most weeks.
They said that if there is a Sunday afternoon game on & Basil's crap show can't be aired in the afternoon. then they will scrap Rex's show to make way for Basil's, they said they would show local content before eastern state shows, I asked them even if the local show is total crap & they said yes.

Well the only reason Basil's footy show exists is that Rex hunt and co could not give a ******** about any teams beside victorian ones. Basils footy show is total crap and I dont watch it but if you want to go watch an eastern states show, live in the eastern states and Im not having a go at you either.

Typical response, just bury your head in the sand & pretend nothing exists outside of WA.
Why should people from eastern states who live & work here & in doing so help out the WA economy, have to put up with only shows made here.
The Eagles/Dockers are in a NATIONAL COMPETITION, so actually hearing about all the teams, not just those two should be expected.

Um hello its the eastern states more like it that forgets about WA!!! If you want to watch a eastern states biased show, live in the eastern states. Channel seven WA do have to make a living and most people dont want to watch a show that concentrates on the home teams for a total of 2 minutes and then all the victorian and eastern states team for 58 minutes. Sorry but thats the way it is...you dont like it..bad luck, 400,000 other people do!

Talking Richmond

You didn't miss much on Talking Richmond anyway....I was watching to see how long it would take for the Tigers to be mentioned...took all over 5 seconds, with UDC confidently declaring they were the BIG STORY of the weekend.

Never mind Sydney upset Port Adelaide, the Bulldogs won in Adelaide for the 3rd year in a row, Tarrant took a likely mark of the year and the Magpies had their best win in ages....no, of course the big story was the Tigers....

They had SOS on and that was OK, of course UDC and FWW were happy as it meant they got to show more vision of the Richmond game....you should have heard them going on about the players doing a guard of honour, you'd reckon they'd saved the world from nuclear war the way they were crapping on.
