Channel 7 vs Fox Footy commentary

So it's been 6 weeks of AFL giving us the option of choosing between the two different broadcast teams and wanted to get people's opinions and takes on it so far, which one have you ended up preferring so far?

I haven't tuned into a single Channel 7 broadcast since the season started honestly and I have to say I've really enjoyed not hearing the typical suspects they have make your ears bleed, like BT and JB, the Fox Footy team is a better broadcast overall and they seem to focus more on actually calling the game, plus they have Matt Hill.

Fox has Kelli Underwood, so channel 7 is better by default.

Has anyone overseas with WatchAFL found a way to switch between commentaries? Or is it default the Fox commentary? I'm assuming Fox own the company, I'm not really sure why the AFL don't control ownership and provide options for both.

I honestly don't know why we have/need commentators, whether they are good or bad, 90% of the time you can't hear/understand them due to the crowd noise, even when they do on field interviews after the game you can't understand them because of the noise.

Feel like Fox has the best and the worst of the commentary teams. Gerard, Hudson, Hill and to a lesser extent Howie are all my preferred commentators, but at the same time will genuinely consider not listening to the commentary when it’s Dermott, Kelly, Alastair Lynch or Dwayne.

Also to the poster saying they can't hear the commentary over the crowd noise... uhhh what?! That's definitely a problem unique to you mate. Perhaps get your hearing checked, genuinely.

You could sync up the SEN commentary from the SEN app on a separate device for situations like this.

Well, BT seems a lot stronger, and sturdier, so i would trust him over Kelli to help build me a raft to escape the island.
