Can someone sow Brian Taylor's lips shut. What an arrogant, disrespectful, irritating piece of s***t he is. After interviewing Mike Pyke he comes up with "he only had five touches today" and "he's not doing that well". Pyke has been superb this year, Taylor is just fortunate he played in a weak era when fat f***s like him could get a kick. He wouldn't get near it in the modern era.

Brian Taylors hatred of Mike Pyke and refusal to acknowledge Pyke is a AFL player is proof of the kind of man Taylor is. Does he honestly think he knows better than Roos and Longmire about the quality of a player.

What about Jetta chasing Dangerfield down! The hacks thought the ball had gone out of bounds but it had stayed in...they then showed a replay while the rest of the game continued.

It's amazing to think that in the past 20 years the quality of the coverage has deteriorated so much.

Yeh that was an absolute disgrace.

Incredible to play at the top level in 2 sports - one he wouldn't have heard of until he was in his 20's.

Brian Taylor isn't even the best unexciting-exciting commentator in the game. That goes to Rex Hunt who yells/gets angry/gets excited at everything.

I had a thread on BT get deleted. To be honest, I am fed up with BT, his commentary is dire, distracting and a disgrace to the game. It's like a 1 man show in the commentary box when he starts interrupting the others in the box (usually Darcy commenting on how he loves the way a certain player goes about it). I can't stand his over-zealous, repetative shrieks of "Oh boy!", "Wowee", "Unbelievable".

I can only imagine what someone 10-15 years down the line thinks when they watch a game from this era with BT commentating. Absolutely shocking.

Don't know about a link, but it was before the Geel/Freo game.

interview with Pyke in the changerooms (over in Adelaide) and Luke Darcy was forcing Taylor to apologise for saying that Pyke doesn't deserve to play AFL earlier in the year. BT refused, Darcy asked Pyke what he thought and Pyke just goes "Who's Brian Taylor?".

Incredibly dead pan, not sure if he were serious or not, but was still hilarious.

What's the deal with the camera angles tonight? So much from ground level - a lot of it from a camera seemingly in the forward/back pocket. Can't get any idea of where the ball is in relation to the goals. Walker's shot on the half time siren - probably the most important kick of the night - was shot from a ground level camera on the wing for a bloke taking a shot from 35m out on a 45 degree angle. It's like amateur hour.

It's not just me then. Said same thing to Mrs while we were watching. The umpire was in the way when Walker kicked that last goal. On Fox Eddie said you would have to take the goal umpires word as you couldn't see the ball go through. Keep it basic 7. Trying too hard.

Exactly. It didn't get in by that much.....I think. Imagine had it been a goal review and, in a close game, cost someone the match. The producer must have been busting for a slash and dashed out the moment the siren went.

WTF was with that half time kick. I couldn't even see the ball from the camera they had. And there was one period of play where they kept that close in camera for about 3 straight minutes. I almost got motion sickness. Absolutely horrible coverage.
