And they are at it again.

Failed to show a decent shot of the Tex goal at HT.

Also failed to show the Tex winning goal and was really interested in Hendersons thumb instead of the play. That and continually missing ball ups and kick ins..

Pathetic!

edit - Dennis barracking for WA teams is disgusting also.

Everyone's been screaming for less close-ups for years, so Seven respond by giving us end-to-end shots from Mars.

Was the work experience kid producing tonite? That camera angle of Tex's shot for goal before half time was an absolute shocker...

and what made it even worse was the umps were in the way of the shot. Was anyone at Seven watching at the time ?
The other one that is bloody annoying is at a centre bounce they sometimes use a camera from a different angle and you think a player is going the wrong way. It's not until they pullback or go to a different camera you realise they're not going the wrong way.

Bring back Ten

Channel 7 where a bloody disgrace last night with all the crap angles also how many shots of Ross Lyon on the phone to we have to see? And the walker kick at half-time, someone at seven must get the ass for that angle just on the thought on even bringing it up.

What a disgrace, 7 must think we are all Morgan's I understand the game is fast and unique, but bloody hell keep it simple!!!

Seven ****ing suck's and have done for years now ! I've always had a lot of respect for Mcavaney and Cometti but they can get ****ed too . Let's be serious if they cared about the coverage and their ' So called ' love of the game they would have brought this too the meat head director already . They obviously don't give a **** about it and just want to pocket their weekly pay check .
What are the names of these ****ing idiot director's/producers on 7 ? Let's name and shame these ****er's !

Someone needs to tell 7 about this soon, because they are going to butcher the Grand Final. That director from last night probably thinks he did a great job because of all the sycophants that surround him.

NO MORE SADDUDY ARVO TEAM WOOOOO

Putting up with Brian "Wowww-weeeeeeeeeeeeeee Booyyyyyyyyy-ohhhhhhhhhh-boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" Taylor is a gazillion times worse!

Whats the point of the fuzzy goalpost cam angle of the player kicking back in? How the hell is that gonna help the viewer?

What is the deal with him constantly referring to Krakouer as "The MCG Specialist" every time he got the ball.

Constantly got names wrong tonight as well. He's hopeless.

Hrmm. I noticed something for a few weeks now. Thought I'd post it here.

From what I see the Saturday Night camera angles seem to be much better compared to the Friday Night one. On Saturday Night the camera shots aren't as bizarre and jarring. The wide shots don't make you feel as if you're viewing the game from the Eureka Tower. The close up shots aren't so close that I can smell the players' bad breath, you can still see the peripheral. There's less angles used and it's simpler. Much more pleasant to watch.

Fridays' camera angles are just so shit and all over the place. No cohesion at all. Too much chopping and changing. Useless camera angles from atop the MCG. Weird close up on an angle for centre bounces after a goal. Just terrible. Talking about getting lost on the field, and I'm not even playing! I find myself regularly wondering where the bloody goals are. The use of the wide angle and close up is too extreme. It's too jarring when they chop it in and out. Not pleasant at all.

All I can conclude is they have 2 separate 'teams' for their broadcasts and the Friday Night one is clearly worse.

I like how they are using the pocket camera angles when the ball is there so I can see what's up the field. That's a good idea, but ffs when the ball is on the wing switch back to the normal angle. I don't want to squint to see the ball on your shitty 240p broadcast.

Oh one last thing. Japan had their first broadcast in 8k signal (one off) a couple months back. That's right, 8 times more than 1080p. What's the bet we're still stuck in SD when they do it regularly.

Walker pretty much kicked the sealer late in the last quarter but no idea how the ball got to him because we saw another replay of a coaches reaction to a free kick.

I wanted to mention this too;

It was actually a 50 metre penalty - Douglas got pushed in the back after he marked it about 70 metres out from Freo's goal - They show the live footage of Douglas picking himself up, and running about 45 metres up to his new mark - THEN, a good 10 seconds after the initial incident where no play had occured, they decided to show the replay of the push in the back, and then Ross Lyon's reaction -

Suddenly Walker has the ball in the goal square after he has played on from an apparent mark....

Truly awful -

I am sure no doubt they went to a commercial break with that awful woman getting balinese slavery foot massages -

Brian Taylor (And I Quote):
"He's half man, Half cappuccino" - Daniel Giansiracusa kicks a Goal

Need I say more...

And the fact that his says "Well that's some great insight" or "We're live and Interactive after every f**king segment I don't give a flying f**k
