So it's 5:00am in the morning here in South Australia, Hewitt up 2 sets to 1, midway through the 4th, and we just lost coverage to go to ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT. Are they actually serious?

Unbelievable, I'm lost for words. :thumbsdown:

Thankfully this means Foxtel can cover the match, but it shouldn't even come to this, what a farce.
 
It's so the eastern states go to Today at 5.30am, i don't get why anyone in the world would rather watch the Today Show over Wimbledon, find that bizarre, just really strange.

There's always live streams, so doesn't matter what Nine does now, they aren't showing the rest of the Djoko match, so just watch it on livestream.
 
Its 10:30pm in London and Novak Djokvic is playing Olivier Rochus on Centre Court and Fox Sports are not allowed to show it becuase it is on Centre Court where Channel 9 have the sole rights.

The score at the moment is Rochus leads 2 games to 0 in the final set.

I have no idea what happened last night. Fox were showing Novak's match until the end of the 3rd when they took the break to close the roof and get the lighting working. When the match resumes we're stuck with a replay of Federer. Can't work out why they wouldn't return to the match. :confused:

Same sort of thing happened at Roland Garros. Rain stopped the Berdych and Murray encounter, Fox left the coverage and never returned despite the match resuming later on.
 
Posting because I went to my grandparents today and they told me to complain about the tennis coverage and stuff.

/complaint.
 
Yeah, I stayed up watching the Wimbledon coverage last night (uni student so no work to get up for:)...) And was pretty pissed off with the fact I'd stayed up all night to watch Lleyton and they cut the coverage off. The anti-siphoning rule has to go - Fox Sports should 100% have shown the end of that match if Nine neglected to do so.

This morning at 5.30am for, you guessed it, The Today Show they cut short the Mahut Isner match at 54 all. It was a really exciting match too. Who the **** is watching news at 5.30am anyway? Just listen to the radio if you want news - or look on any other TV channel.

Yeah that's pretty much them. God help you if you need them to analyse the match. Takes them so long to work out what is going on if they do at all.
I kept watching the Nadal Nishikori match just to listen to McEnroe. So much better, talking about greatest of all time, Nadal vs Federer etc.

Mark Woodforde is such a flog. He was last night pronouncing Sprem's first name Karolina, as Karolina (like the American state). She was playing Clijsters so they had this flashback thing of Clijsters winning the US and he said she beat "Carolina Wozniacki", what a moron. I just can't stand him in general as a commentator. John Newcombe at least offers some insight....

I agree, can't stand Woodforde. Newc and Stolle are just as bad but at least newc can occasionally offers oemthing in analysis, even though usually he's going on about his love affair with the serve and volley

I like to know how Nine can go, hmmm, 54 games all inthe 5ht, let's go to the Today show, when everybody will be watching this or the Socceroos match anyway. :confused:
