Channel Ten's coverage was the best when it aired footy in the 2000s

I'll add in the intros from 2002-2006 (except for 2005 as I can't seem to find that one. Probably on Rhett Bartlett's channel if I look hard enough.)

There are actually a lot of really good intro promo packages like that from Channel Ten from the games they covered.
I think part of the secret sauce they had and also the reason why Seven kinda dropped off in terms of coverage when they got it back in 2007 is that I think a lot of the main people who made Seven what it was in terms of coverage behind the scenes in the 90's went to Channel Ten when the rights got split between Nine/Ten/Foxtel in 2002.
I know for a fact that David Barham (Former Producer of Talking Footy and I believe Second in Charge of the footy coverage at Seven at the time and now former Essendon Club President) produced all of Ten's coverage for the 10 years they had it and Don Fitzsimmons who had been Seven's main footy director moved to Ten as well.
In fact, If you look at Seven's coverage of Friday Night Football from 2001, It does have that same vibe in terms of presentation that Channel Ten would have in the years afterwards. Even down to the using the same style of intro promo package and the way they'd show the commentators on screen. I don't know if anyone else sees it that way so I might be talking out my arse. XD

We are 20+ years on, and i still get goose bumps when I hear the holy grail intro.
