Don't think it's been mentioned yet but most TEN games are night games and most Fox games are day games (the old Ch 9 ones). We are crap at night.
And the wet too, which seems to suggest a slippery ball/ground (due to the dew in night games, due to rain when it's, well, raining) makes us go all crap. Probably due to the twin facts that:
a) most of our players have "fumbly" hands (Bolton, Fosdike, Hall the main culprits, with many more others and with Kirk as one of the only exceptions), and
b) all of our players are average to poor in balance (I'm struggling to think of one you could class as "good" except for maybe C Bolton), which makes us fall off our feet and out of the contest
In the wet these flaws are exacerbated by the slippery conditions, while hot weather conversely helps to negate these flaws. You could almost say that the good weather in the latter half of 2005 was as much of a factor in our premiership as a stable team!
