Which of you fanboys of Chappy watched his debut for Essendon last night?

I have Foxtel , and have been watching the NAB Challenge, so I saw the game.

I thought Chappy struggled a bit in the first half. He was running around, second to contests, and not getting his hands on the ball.

He had to go to the bench twice (which he wouldn't have liked) to stop bleeding from a cut to his head. If this happened at Geelong, you would all say "How dare Chapman be forced to sit on the pine. He needs to be out on the field. He can handle blood!"

He did more in the second half, and got a handful of possessions, but was kept goalless for the entire game (I'm not making this up. I know you can't believe Chapman was kept goalless, but he was).

So, I am interested in your totally non-biased assessment of Paul Chapman's first run as a Bomber.

Mods,get this out now

Come on, Jub Jub, you love me doing these threads, because then it gives opportunity to use all of your little pictures. Admit it.

I bet you tell people:-"Oh, look how clever I am. I can put a picture on my post. Clever me!"

Where would you be if I stopped posting Chappy threads. You couldn't then express your man-lust for Chappy and then use your pictures?

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! You need me to post, you want me to post.

Don't follow Essendon. So barely watched it, forgot he was playing, then turned it off anyway.

Only love them while they're wearing Geelong colours. Don't care what happens to them once they leave.

Difference is, some of us can carry on impartial discussions about them.
Hey, I'm being impartial. I am only reporting what I saw. I am not making up his slow start or his goalless game.

Just because Chapman was looking slow getting to contests or not getting his hands on the ball early, when many on this board say that he never plays badly from siren to siren, don't accuse me of being impartial.

I wonder if that guy on this board is going to start his "EAT SHIT GEELONG" post yet?

Who are these Chapman lovers you so frequently cite? Who is starting the "Eat shit Geelong" thread? Quote them in your post and argue with them.

Thought Chappy kinda looked about like TV from last year in the bits I saw. Recovering from a major injury period he ran around a lot and didn't effect much. Looked lighter too like he has not been working as hard. Maybe low motivation?

chappy looked ok in the 2nd half. very sad to see him in other colours. worse than seeing pods on Monday night

wish them both all the best and i hope they are getting paid shitloads
....unlike Geelong, who are paying less to keep a winning team together.

Funny, I thought Chapman espoused the theory for turning down offers from other clubs to remain together to create a dynasty. I'm sure I heard him say that back in 2007.

looked crap in the first half but then lifted almost immediately after half-time. Must have gathered something like 20 touches in those 2 quarters of footy.

First game with a bunch of new teammates, might of needed an hour or so to start working out how they play together.
