Good read!

Hope here's recovering well from the major back surgery.
Much appreciated. :thumbsu:

I love honesty. Too many people in this world are yes Sir, no Sir men... Chappy speaks his mind and I value those traits in a person.
Yeah, but he has to have some respect for his former team-mates. Did Chappy warn them "Say anything to me while we are on the same team, and remember, I might repeat it in my upcoming book?"

Having said that, I might buy the book myself.

Respect must be earn't. Nobody has the right to demand respect.

Nor am I, just have to listen to him on 360 every week.
His posturing tantrums on the field are evidence to his personality I'd have thought.

OK. Chappy has lost a bit of respect from me since he has a book out taking cheap shots at former team-mates. Other than a short reply once, he makes no mention of standing up to Goddard, nor upbraiding the leadership group for the faults he saw. So, Chappy hasn't earned respect there. Turns the "tell it like it is" thing on it's head, don't it?

This will come down to who the co-writer is.
Chappy has never come across as the sharpest tool in the shed.

That said, I don't read sports books. My Steve Waugh and SK Warne books are untouched.

Hey?

You are aware that you don't actually HAVE to watch when he is on aren't you? :D

I'm fairly sure there wouldn't be many ex-teammates of his that didn't know how he felt about them or will find surprises in his book.

Do you honestly see what has been written as a 'cheap shot'? I thought it was pretty nuanced and (while obviously being Chapman's opinion) fair.
