Squiggle tips Demons at 77% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
You WERE perennial underachievers, but that was because of Charlie, not in spite of him.Nah JJ played in an era at Adelaide when goals were kicked for shits n giggles while Dixon’s battled solo in our wasteland of a forward line over the same journey
For mine put Dixon in the Crows forward line instead of JJ in that era and he would’ve been way more productive
Not Charlie’s fault we decided to be perennial underachievers during his tour
Holy crapcant see him going anywhere else... 2 year deal at port on about the same or maybe a little less then what he’s on now.
the adelaide media love to talk the bloke up but looking at his career.. he’s little more than a Josh Jenkins that angrily crashes a pack every now and then.. they’ve now played the exact same amount of games..
Josh has kicked about 60 more goals than him over the journey though.. and charlie‘s temper sees him give away a lot of stupid frees..

There is not a single defender in the AFL Charlie cannot beat 1 on 1. His problem is we keep bombing it on his head while he’s competing against 2-3 defenders and even then he still brings the ball to ground 9-10With Dixion's massive injury problems and not able to handle the gorilla key defenders can't see the Lions chasing Dixion
You might want to actually watch games Andrews for one totally dominated him in round 5There is not a single defender in the AFL Charlie cannot beat 1 on 1. His problem is we keep bombing it on his head while he’s competing against 2-3 defenders and even then he still brings the ball to ground 9-10
I recon they guy that has taken the most contested marks in the game can handle big key defenders. Especially impressive as he is double/triple teamed at every contest and always has his arms chopped & held onto. You might want to actually watch games Andrews for one totally dominated him in round 5

This.Josh Jenkins is like Charlie Dixon, like how Matt Priddis is like Chris Judd. Stats say they both won a Brownlow at the Eagles. Same player.
Firstly haven’t won a final yet (6 seasons this season since we saluted) or even made the top four this season so still unequivocally remain underachieversYou WERE perennial underachievers, but that was because of Charlie, not in spite of him.
He delivered VERY little across the journey.
Absolute rubbish. You only need to look at the win loss record when he's just playing alone. You WERE perennial underachievers, but that was because of Charlie, not in spite of him.
He delivered VERY little across the journey.
Who would you prefer? With Dixion's massive injury problems and not able to handle the gorilla key defenders can't see the Lions chasing Dixion
Who would you prefer?
Strikes me as one of those players who lifts his output in a contract year. Not the same standard in other years.
Hinkley to Lions confirmed.Charlie said on AFL Tonight he will be playing under Ken Hinkley in 2021
Jez Cameron but that's probably unlikelyWho would you prefer?

It’s when he ends up 3 on 1 and getting his arms held onto where he struggles (but which KPF wouldn’t ?)so which "gorilla key defenders" can't he handle?
I think you will find a lot of Ports supporters signing off on this deal.Hinkley to Lions confirmed.
At the end of the day.. they are both tall forwards, same height and around the same weight.. both now played the exact same number of games.Josh Jenkins is like Charlie Dixon, like how Matt Priddis is like Chris Judd. Stats say they both won a Brownlow at the Eagles. Same player.
I think all of that was just s**t stirring from Roo... in response to some s**t stirring of Roo by port adelaide supporting journos in Adelaide over tge furture of some crows players.. all just some friendly banter thats been goin on on Adelaide radio in recent times..If Brisbane are offering a four-year deal, Dixon should go. He'll be 30 next month. How many players start a new four-year deal at that age?
he’ll stay at port on a two year deal... and, if his body holds up, on one year extensions following that 2 years... until he retires.. be risky anyone, even port, offering him 4...Nobody will offer this guy 4 years.
His body is unreliable and he is about to turn 30.
Never been a top shelf forward/goalkicker, nor a top shelf ruck.
He should get a 2 year deal on modest money.
