Non of you Collingwood fans have answered the question yet - how many Brownlow votes did Cloke receive? I don't think the umpires notice the soft players no matter how many times he changes the colour of his hair

Cloke didn't get many votes. I don't recall exactly how many or if he even got one. I was distracted and too busy counting Buckley's votes, worrying about how well Jason will go on Saturday and remembering Cameron's big fat smile when they put the Premiership medal around his neck last Sunday. I was also trying to get some perspective on just how tall 201 cm was. Is that pretty big for a 16 yo kid? Seems like it to me.
I did have a chuckle when Cauglan got another 3 votes though. To think you could have drafted Caughlan and still taken Cloke under the Father Son rule and had 2 players on your list with heart with another 2 to come into the team over the next couple of years.

At about 5.30 pm on Saturday Coughlan can go over to the Collingwood change rooms and Clokey will show him his premiership medallion. Coughlan will never have one of his own. But hey he got more votes in the Brownlow than Clokey did.

Jason Cloke is playing good footy, and Collingwood are heading into the 2003 grand final. Goodness me. I so wish our team was below mediocre with perhaps only one breath of hope in Mark Coughlan than having a crack at the big dance with a good young team with an ambunance of good young players.
