Anyway Bluey I could possibly get into chat?? I used to be able to before, but since there was the big change at Bigfooty I haven't been able, there's just a blank screen when I go to:

It's a bit frustrating Bluey so if you could tell me what's gone wrong or what I have to do to get in, I'd be grateful.

I had exactly the same problem after the boards changed, Ant. I think it could have something to do with the ISPs we're using.
When I was with GoConnect, a slow, crappy, free ISP, I couldn't get in to chat, but when GoConnect finished, I moved over to Telstra, and have no probs in getting in. Don't know if it was just a coincidence with something else that allowed me to use chat, but that was most probably the problem.
See if you can go on a free trial with Bigpond or Ozemail, and see if it works then. If you're already using one of them ..... then buggered if I know what the problem is.

What i found is that if u log onto the forum list as u do. THEN go to the bottom of the page, u find a link to the home page of bigfooty, then u enter chat..... otherwise if that doesnt work, its your computer, or the operator.
PP here's an idea for you and anyone else that has been impersonated.
Actually I reckon that anyone at all that goes into chat should make sure they are not in 'invisibile' mode. That way their name will show up on the list of logged in users for bigfooty and we have a better chance of knowing if it is the fake person or not.
Not necessarily.
I do not use the invisible function while surfing the boards, but someone still manages to get in as "me" at the same time.
Thanx Danni. Shinners alerted me to it a week or so ago, and luckily most of the chat regulars know I don't go in there anymore, mostly because of the impersonator.
