Food, Drink & Dining Out Cheap eats in Melbourne

So I'm a scungey uni student. It's cheaper to have a nice meal a few times a week than to cook every night, so help me out. What are some good places that are cheap? Or any joints who did a cheap parma and pot on a weeknight?

There's a few nice little curry places in the city. Paying $8/10 is good value for me, especially since Funky Curry is beer + naan + curry for a tenner.
