Is that a good thing? The game sounds like arse...at 43(PS3) and 49(PC and 360) on Metacritic and EVERYONE says the game isn't worth playing twice either, let alone struggling through it the first time.

Wouldn't mind hearing what FEAR 2 is like online though.

Anyone bought from this seller before:

Has some cheap games and claims to be Australian but sends from UK?
Yep, perfectly safe mate. You will be getting the UK version of the game, but it won't matter for you.

I bought Mirror's Edge from them a few weeks back and the game arrived exactly 1 week after I bought it with no issues.

whats the deal with whether DLC will work on a game

does it just have to be the PAL version, or does it have to be the Aus version
Mainly depends on whether the DLC is region locked. Some works, some doesn't. Sometimes you can't tell if it will or not either which is a pain in the arse.

I was lucky with Mirror's Edge that the UK version worked with the DLC,

But some other games don't work. Usually the DLC will be specified.

My strategy for buying games online is basically to not by them if I want to buy or get the DLC. I took a risk with Mirror's Edge and luckily it payed off but I wouldn't really try it again.

cheers hbk

just found a game that said PAL (Australian) Version, the DLC for that would work, right?
Honestly I'm not sure (PAL Is the Euro region, so it might not be the actual Australian version, if it is the Australian version and states that is is specifically Australian, then it will 100% work). It could, that's all I can really offer.

DLC tends to be a case by case thing, so if the DLC is already released take a look on the AU PS Store and see if there are any guidelines on there about it having to be "BLES #####" and if it doesn't then you're a better chance of it working than not. But that's all I can really say unfortunately.

The PAL version is certainly the better one to buy if you are looking at getting DLC, but even still it might not work.

Picked up Platinum Assassin's Creed for $29.95 today from Games in Geelong. Brand new, too. Pretty happy with this one.

It's a good store, the prices are always cheaper than EB Games/JB etc.

Quite a few decent games selling cheaply including Drake's Fortune + Killzone 2. I would think I'll be back there shortly.
