Don't think so Jabso, any charges SHOULD be included in the postage when buying the item.

To go with those Kmart sales as well, FEAR 2 is now $30, not 100% sure if that's across the board as it was a sticker showing that FEAR 2 is $30 but that's a pretty good deal if the online still has a bit of a community.

Can someone tell me if FEAR 2, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, Medal of Honor: Airborne and Wolverine on PS3 are worth it going at these deals? I see that Prince of Persia is $20 at Kmart on 360 but does anyone know if it is the same price on PS3?

I don't think you could go wrong with most at those prices TBH.

I'll be getting FEAR 2 when I go back to Kmart for sure. The demo was good fun and the DLC demo was good too (although I won't get the DLC). I was interested in the first FEAR but the poor port put me off, this one is thankfully a lot better and looks like it's a lot the same, so good stuff I hope. Has an online mode and if anyone is actually still on it could offer more bang for your buck.

Wolverine looks to be a good buy at $25 despite the lack of an online mode there is a ton of collectables for those who like that.

I loved the original MOH but each other I played was considerabley worse and I ended up giving up on them. Airborne is said to be ok, so I guess it would be whether you think it's worth the money. Same probably goes for BiA, which was one I was really looking forward too, but got bogged down with numerous delays and ended up really dropping off the radar and looked a bit uncomplete when it came out.

Pretty sure it would be, I didn't see it on PS3 today, but I didn't see it on 360 either (didn't bother to ask).

I would've got FEAR 2 today, but someone had bought it earlier and they had no more copies left.:thumbsd::(

Prince of Persia (PS3) scans in at $49.95 :thumbsd:

Have read on a few other game bargain forums, that if you throw a big enough tanty they could sell it for the price of the 360 version.

Most of the time the price is universal across multiple platforms (of the same generation), eg: how they might reduce Fifa, Madden, Tiger Woods - it would be the same price on competing consoles (eg: ps3/360).

In their defence, i don't think they are focusing on gaming + their audio/video department has been lacking in recent times.

I know that one K-Mart i live near has been lacking titles across ps2/ps3/360/pc etc. However they still seem to have lots of Wii + DS titles. Their last software clearout prior to July, they had heaps of titles similar to the sale they are advertising now only titles like BiA - were $40 and not $19 - $25 etc. They've only been getting in new releases and even then it has been at weird times + not many copies of each (well i've seen DJ Hero has stacks of copies across ps3/360).

Yeah, was the same for me. None of any, although FEAR 2 was there for the 360 (But I saw it yesterday on the PS3, dunno why I didn't get it then...:().

I've never seen any Kmart really take gaming all that seriously. I mean, I always flip straight to the game section in catalogues and for as long as I've known I always go straight to the game/electronics section whenever going to a Kmart/Target/Meyer/etc. But always get let down a fair bit...that being said, when you advertise for a sale you'd think you would have enough copies to satisfy more than 1 or 2 people, at least have more copies out back or sumfin!!!

I'd simply do a price match for something like FEAR 2 at EB, the only thing is that the FEAR 2 price is a Kmart sales price that isn't advertised in the catalogue and if I brought it up at EB they'd most likely ring Kmart to see if it's at stock at that price and there's my issue being that THEY DON'T ****EN HAVE IT!

I've had FEAR 2 for a while ($29 at JB some time ago) haven't played it yet though.

BiA: HH VERY underrated IMO. The SP campaign is actually really really good.

MOH:Airborne, hated it when I started playing, but got better and better as it went through. Not a AAA title, but a pretty decent game none the less. Althought there's something seriously wrong with the aiming in the game (line up the crosshair, crosshair goes red, but the bullets often miss)
 
I dropped into K-Mart at Chadstone an hour or so ago and they have nothing.

FEAR 2 is a very good game (Maybe I'm just a fanboy, I loved the original FEAR).

The second one focuses more on actual fear and the little girl ALMA than the original one.
 
www.gog.com has Tropico 1 + expansion + Tropico 2 for $US9.95, DRM-free. Great bargain. I picked it up even through I already own 2 and had played 1 extensively.

True but K-Mart, Target and others are famous for it. I saw an mp3 player I wanted to buy for a present for a mate. I was the first person in the door at Target and bought my mp3 player. By the time I finished paying there were 4 people behind me waiting for that mp3 player. Only 1 more person got 1.

It's actually illegal to do but they get away with it all the time.
