Fallout 3 GOTY is $16.99 on Steam atm, is that any good?
Not really. Wait until the last day of the steam sales and see if it gets cheaper at all.

Terraria is 75% off ($2.50) in the Steam daily sale for today. :thumbsu:

Highly recommend it - especially at that price.

The graphics look old school, but it's a very addictive game. I've spent 60+ hours playing it myself :o

Have seen others describe it as a 2d minecraft with more fighting. The dev has been doing a lot of ongoing updates too since release a couple of months back - adding new items, enemies etc.

A must buy, IMO.

Hopefully that means you will do the same.
I guess it's goodbye then.
Sacka, umad?

What I'm saying is mis-information. The game was cheaper that day because it was a daily deal. Unless it's in a re-cap of the sales then it won't be cheaper (and even then it'll be the same price in a re-cap).

And it wasn't a good deal...said to wait and see if it gets cheaper, if it doesn't and it gets another sale day on the last then he could buy it if he thinks it's a good enough price.

Such mis-information....

Bet you wouldn't have expected a game to double in price on the same sales day, anything can happen.

The Humble Indie Bundle #3
  • Crayon Physics Deluxe
  • Cogs
  • VVVVVV
  • Hammerfight
  • And Yet It Moves

Will grab this towards the end of it's days. But it's surprisingly low budget this time around.

The 2nd has to have been the most value bundle available.

And I already have VVVVVV thanks to FGMPR, which is a damn impressive game for it's super cheap budget. A couple of the others look nice too. But definitely a different type of bundle this time around.

VVVVVV has also been given a large update, and now includes a level editor and 10 new levels made by a bunch of indy dev's like Notch of Minecraft fame (the direct download from HB is already patched, the Steam patch should be up some time soon).

Everyone needs to play this game. Everyone also needs to listen to its soundtrack, which is just phenomenal (the soundtrack is called "PPPPPP" - look it up on youtube).

Is there any cheap 3DS games at the moment?

Every game on sale is still $50 lol, I don't care if it's Naked Barbie Adventure Island 2: Electric Boogaloo - Boogaloo harder I'll buy it as long as it's cheap.

Humble Indie bundle 3 has just added the entire HB2 pack, as well as a bonus game to HB3 for those who pay over $5.42 US.

So, for around $5 Aussie you get the following, via Steam, DRM-free direct download or another indie game service called Desura... your choice:

Crayon Physics Deluxe
Cogs
VVVVVV
Hammerfight
And Yet It Moves
Steel Storm: Burning Retribution
Atom Zombie Smasher
Braid
Cortex Command
Machinarium
Osmos
Revenge of the Titans

Most of these games are exceptional, and can be run on an ancient PC.

So if you like games, and you are running something more advanced than a 386SX, then go spent a few bucks on this pack, enjoy some great games, and know your money is going to whatever good cause you choose it to go to, whether that be the game devs or the charities on offer.

Also, Machinarium, Osmos and Revenge of the Titans have their soundtracks available for download as part of the package. Osmos, in particular, has a great electronic/ambient soundtrack.

Just on this.

I was going to pay the average price anyway for the HB#3 bundle. And since this deal has put it that if you pay more than the average you get HB#2, I now have 2 of the HB#2 bundle.

So if anyone doesn't necessarily have the money/want or whatever reason to pay over the average but does want Braid, Osmos, Revenge of the Titans, Machinarium and Cortex Command. I am open to giving it away for nothing (either Steam and Desura - so 2 people could grab the bundle). So either respond here, via PM, visitor message and alert me if you want those games.

EDIT: Steam activation code gone, still have the Desura one available...if anyone has Desura?
