AC:R, LEGO Pirates and Saints Row the Third (Collector's as regular was sold out) for about $160 ain't bad.:thumbsu:

Wanted to get Rayman Origins as well for $48 but just sold out.:(

Very tempted on RAGE (even though the demo was fairly shit, the gunplay is still amazing) for $38 and Deus Ex for $28.

Got to love how EB advertise Skyrim "this hour only" for $64 when I can get it for $20 cheaper online through another major retailer.

You do realize that the link is to the UK site and it's in pounds? after converting it to aus dollars its about the same price as what Eb had it for that hour.

Ended up getting
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Lego Harry Potter 5-7 Collectors Ed (xmas for my son)
Lego Pirates (for both of us)
All for just over $100

Who really shops at EB anymore ?
I am pretty far behind the crowd but even i stopped buying games their about a year ago
such a rip off

I usually don't either - haven't bought from them for years, but to be fair, some of the prices today were cheaper, or the same price as importing from ozgameshop.com

eg. the 3 games I got:
- Deus Ex: HR - EB $28 / OZ $56 or $61
- Batman: AC - EB $47 / OZ $48
- Dark Souls (Limted Ed.) - EB $54 / OZ $56

I also prefer the AU copies, so no potential issues with DLC.

Didn't bother with anything else, Skyrim was extremely tempting but LEGO Pirates, AC:R and Saints Row should be around 100 hours of gaming there. So I'm happy.

When I still had a console I enjoyed going into EB and checking out their sales and pre-owned collections to see what was about. I rarely bought anything but it was good to have the option. Now that I am only gaming on PC, retail stores are useless and I miss it in a very small way.

I pay a shitload less for PC games but I can't resell them.

wow, humblebundle #4 has taken about 19 hours to pass $1 million.

The previous biggest & fastest seller was #3 according to wikipedia:
Within 17 hours, the Bundle had broken $500,000 in total sales with over 107,000 bundles purchased, a significant improvement relative to the Frozenbyte bundle. The sale broke $1 million less than a week from its onset. Sales hit $2 million on August 8, finishing up with a grand total of $2,169,090.71.

Well Eb are cheeky *****, Dues Ex is a UK copy with a big fat Aussie rating sticker on it, and it wasn't shrink wrapped like the other 2 games.
If i wanted a UK copy i would of ordered from the UK.

I remember back when GAME had Arkham Asylum up for $48 a little bit after release I got that and it was a UK version with an Aussie classification sticker.

So far LEGO Pirates and SR3 have been AU games (and shrink wrapped). Still awaiting Assassin's Creed though.
