You'll find this is instore too, basically anything that isn't already marked down is 40% off, grabbed a couple of old pre owned games today, Medal Of Honor & Little Big Planet for $18 each. Only worth it for pre owned titles as anything not pre owned has been marked down slightly so you cant get the discount

Was going to grab a ps3 controller but it was marked down from $99 to $84 .....JB & EB have them retailing for $77, although EBs is discounted.

and GAME wonder why they're going out of business. Shouldnt be too long before they do, then they have to discount everything muhahahaha

They may survive yet. By closing down their 60 worst performing stores, it will be easier for them to find a buyer willing to take on 32 stores that are performing "ok" Time will tell

Time is their enemy, they arent getting new games in, not taking pre orders and cant do trades or honour return policies. They leave it too long and they'll find even if they do manage to survive, profits are going to be at an all time low come holiday season when all the big hitting titles have been pre ordered at the other stores.

Might have to get an EB world card now

Yeah, EB having a good sale at the moment. Child of Eden is fifteen dollars. A heap of 0.5-1.5 year oldish or so titles for 19-28 dollars too.

So 30 bucks gets you some good stuff

The level 4 benefits are access to Beta's that the public normally wouldn't get access to and VIP access to game launches (no need to wait in a massive queue at a Midnight launch)

Its a great price, if the store you are going to has the last months issue as well, you get that as well ( i hand mine out as part of it) so sometimes you get 13 or 14 issues for that price

Birthday offer is 50% extra trade credit i think, but it may have changed since my birthday in Feb

I thoroughly enjoy reading Game Informer. Its cheap and i feel the quality is of a high standard compared to other gaming mags i have read.

I have never read Edge in detail (may have flicked through it) so you may be right, but there is no doubting the quality of GI for its price

But of course, lets make it about me defending a magazine that EB sells subs for

Not that i know of, you can sign up to level 1 online, but Level 3 with GI must be done in a store
