I was responding to PAdman's wants of PS Store sales by saying there are two on at the moment.

I've only really looked at the price of one of those titles on sale, Blood Dragon because I knew someone else wanted it.

I would assume there are some cheap games on sale based on them being 'on sale' items.

Live sale has better games than the PS sale for sure but its all stuff most serious gamers should've already had and finished by now. If you're waiting for Far Cry 3, Hitman, Borderlands 2 & Max Payne 3 then you're doing it wrong, any genuine interest in those games and they would've been picked up around their respective launch dates, such is the quality of that lot.

These two are exceptionally good games. I was surprised by both, I thought Virtua Tennis would be just an average sports game but I was really shocked when I played it. Same for Spec Ops, I thought it would be a dudebro shooter but wow it was a big surprise.

PS+ for me is about trying unknown games for free that I had little interest in buying (has provided a few gems), free indie stuff, free Vita games and every now and then downloading a game i have previously traded in for another play through.

I consider myself to be in between a mid-core gamer and a hardcore gamer and I just can't keep up with all the games out there. I don't understand how people have time. While I've had my eye on Borderlands 2 and Far Cry 3 for some time I just haven't snapped them up yet (I only just finished Fallout New Vegas, ha). There's just so many bloody games out there that I have an interest in that I fall so far behind, so those sales get me every time.

I'm also one that enjoys taking my time in a game I like. I don't think this makes me any less of a gamer either but it's also something that makes keeping up difficult.

Lack of time is fair enough, backlogs can be a dangerous thing, probably why i don't bother with steam sales or games like Fallout NV (although that was more being burnt out from the time i put into Fallout 4)
