Lol yeah I suppose you could say that but you know what I mean. They are nice normal people with morals etc. Its almost as if cheating is just accepted these days.

Never been the cheater, or cheated on (to my knowledge), but happily been the cheatee*.

*Only with the caveat that the guy was an absolute douche that I hated.

On the other side of the coin I had a chance with this hot blonde who was the ex of a really close mate of mine who I hadn't seen in a while (drifted apart but were really close), but due to my overwhelming good-blokeyness on the issue I decided not to go there. Move forward a couple of months and I run into the guy, he bails his other plans and we end up hanging out for about 6 hours just catching up and drinking. During this time I discussed the whole thing with him and he basically said that I should have and he would have no problem with it because I'm a good guy.

I had a discussion the other week on this subject. One thing I realised is I know a lot of women that have cheated and most are all decent type girls. You would be surprised to know who is cheating out there

Kind of once. Was with my girlfriend for a month or twothen went on schoolies without her. Anyway, got blind drunk (as one does on schoolies) and my mates would vouch for me how well i would have been doing had i not been taken. However, i was not interested, as i liked (and continue to like) my girlfriend very much. Until one girl, who i was talking to because she told me that she had a boyfriend, starting trying to hook up with me. I think it was a few seconds until i ran away. i rang my gf the next day because i felt like absolute shit, made her feel like crap (still feel so bad about), but all good to this day. She trusts me alot, and i show this trust to her aswell.

Funny, this is exactly what my ex-girlfriend said. What did she do? She cheated on me. We still went out for a little while after that, but it was just never the same.
Found out the Sunday just gone (about a week after we broke up) from a mate, that it wasn't just 'some guy' she cheated on me with, but one of her ex's. That she didn't even have the guts to tell me that bit, and lie about the person hurt more.

I never cheated on her, nor did I contemplate it. I never could, and I never would. If you love someone, or if you are with someone you should not do it. End of story, in my books.

Yeah or to your husband aswell. I just picked why would the father be the cheatee with his sons partner because it just seems far less common.

It's not always as simple as that man. But I'm sure you'll just reply with something else on your moral high horse.

I think it sucks, but it's not always so simple. And life is full of learning curves, and people make mistakes.

I cheated on a girlfriend a little while back, nov/dec 2010. Posted about it in the old Rate My Day threads (which i just re-read, pretty funny looking back now BF was kind of therapy via venting!) not something i'm overly proud of but the relationship was going nowhere and i did own up and let the girlfriend know when i could have easily got away with it. One of my mates stumbled across the thread a few months later and stupidly told his GF (a good friend of the now ex) my BF username etc. so i cut right back on posting about current personal stuff.

This is more the last 36 hours than just today.

11am Friday

Massive fight with GF as i was about to leave for work.
In a filthy mood all day at work, lose it an some irish backpacker twat for no particular reason.
Leaving work i realised i'd forgotten to pick up my house keys on the way out the door this morning.
GF has gone down the coast to the beach house for the weekend to "think about our future"

Decide to go to the pub and get ****ed up instead of figuring out how to get into my apartment.
Get to the pub and the bartender points out my story of woe is somehow riveting to a group of girls next to me.
French girl sitting next to me invites me to come and stay at her place.
Go back to her house
Hide in bathroom for 15mins weighing up whether to cheat on the GF or not.

Sleep

8/10 as of 2am Saturday

Wake up
Cheat on GF
Go out for breakfast with frenchy in st kilda
Go back to her place while i figure out how to get into my flat
Organise a mate who's a painter to come around with his ladders after i realise we never lock our balcony door.
He couldn't do it till 5-6pm
Spend day kicking back on frenchies couch drinking beers, watching the aussies bat, whilst trying to teach her the rules.
Cheat on GF
Get back into house
Organise cover story with mate.
Thai home delivery for dinner.
Pulp Fiction about to start on foxtel

Found out I was part of a cheating incident.
The chick said she didn't have a boyfriend so we picked up at a club.
Turns out she did have a boyfriend. Even though I didn't do anything wrong, I still felt bad.
Also the respect for that chick plummeted.

I don't think it could be classified as cheating but at the time I was seeing a girl (seeing, not dating) and I was hooking up with the other. Having gone out of those days, I feel bad about it now. What can you do, eh?

One used me though, turns out she was hooking up with me across a football ground her boyfriend was training on. Not my proudest moment.
