Just re-posting my band as I've got a different link to put up.

This song goes for 20 minutes if you can be stuffed listening; it's mostly Stoner Rock/Kyuss influenced. Taken from our most recent rehearsal, though the vocals can't be heard very clearly...

Nice!! How did you record it?

Cheers dude!

Recorded it at band rehearsal, via Reaper on a Mac through Pro Tools (with only two inputs), but it actually comes out alright.

We're planning on doing an EP within the next few months and will most likely upgrade the Pro Tools with more mic inputs, as well as the sound card on the Mac and record it ourselves.

Will post info up about that when it all comes about.

Thats a good recording and a good song. You guys are going to be awesome when you start playing live.

You are using some good gear and Pro Tools is the industry standard for recording these days.

I use a Boss 1200CD digital recorder which works well for recordings.

We sometimes record directly to it using our Jamhub silent rehearsal unit which means we all wear headphones but the sound is great and we can jam until the early hours and no-one can hear us. The drummer has got a Roland TD 20 electronic kit so there is no need to mic up just direct in.

Haven't figured out how to get a link up on my posts yet but when I do I will post a link.

Cheers...

Awesome.

That silent rehearsal unit would be very handy, it would certainly save a lot of hassle!

What genre(s) do you guys play? Looking forward to hearing it. :thumbsu:

We play mainly 70's Rock covers with our originals thrown in which are influenced by that era. Hope to get something up here soon for your opinion. Cheers.

Maybe it is more appropriate here but check out this drummer (its my partners mate) Ben Farnham. Used to be in a band called Lysergic (QLD) but I don't think he is anymore...this was a few years ago but for one go its pretty awesome...:thumbsu:

I liked the track.

Who do you guys play with, gig wise?

My old band tried to get a bit of a stoner rock scene going years ago, but just as it took it off with 'Devils Kitchen' fest we broke up.

We haven't played any gigs yet, though we do have one lined up in our hometown in November. Being from a country town, it makes it hard to get gigs in Melbourne, but we do plan on trying to get ourselves out there and hopefully lead onto something. So if anyone reading this can hook us up with a gig, let me know. ;)

We did the same thing, coming from the country as well.
Stumbled our way into gigs at the Espy, the Tote, Arthouse, the Corner, Hifi bar etc....I can put you in touch with some mates of mine who play pretty often, if you're interested.

I know Ben aswell, been listening to their music lately, quite good.

If you check out AlienFromEarth on triple J unearthed, which I think is just all Ben's music, the song on there is better than the Blud songs IMO.
