That's how it works now I'm afraid.
Lads ring up foxtel and get stick into em - I pointed out to them I signed up to foxtel on the basis that CL football was going to be on ESPN (and has been previously advertised by foxtel as a selling point).

Complained enough that I got a $100 credit :)

Depending on when you signed up you are all entitled to something because they are no longer providing what they promised originally.

Don't understand how that's Foxtel's problem. They still show ESPN. Just because ESPN were outbid for the rights to the CL, doesn't mean Foxtel has done something wrong.

It's their problem because when I signed up for foxtel they advertised CL football on ESPN as a selling point to signing up with foxtel. They are now not providing that service despite previously advertising it to be the case.

With my knowledge of consumer law I believe anyone who signed up to foxtel when they advertised CL football on ESPN is entitled to a discount on their account so long as they haven't changed plans since. FYI I do customer service & accounts payable in my job.

I complained and it worked for me. I got a $100 credit.

"Ruben is ready. He's very confident, very good self esteem, wants to play and is not afraid of anything. He's not ready from the tactical point of view."

"The tactical point of view is where to keep working, improving, kill him in Australia, the process is on the tactical and physical side."

"To play the other night like he did, after 77 minutes he had cramp. He's not ready in that side. Mentally is ready and if I played him tomorrow it would be no problem."

Ugly win but I'll take it. Always good to get a winner over the Gunners and it might just be the one we need. Much improved performances from Hazard, Fab and Matic, even Ivanovic wasn't completely useless. St. James' next week and given Newcastle are bottom there is no excuse to not break our hoodoo there.

A big relief to win this match! I know the media and Chelsea-haters will claim we only won because Arsenal had a player sent off just before half time but we were all over them after about the 10 minute mark of the game so I think we were going to inevitably score one way or another.

I love Costa's passion and while he can be an intense player and his attitude may overstep the mark at times I think he's a warrior that every club requires for their team to be successful so the positives clearly outweigh the negatives when it comes to his attitude and desire for the team. In terms of playing ability his touch on the ball concerns me but he still has a natural ability to find the net at any moment so he cannot be written off.

I absolutely loved Zouma's game! He was my man of the match. Jose placed heavy faith on him to get the job done in defence and he repaid him in the best way possible by defending beautifully and scoring a wonderful header that took the sting out of Arsenal's game. I can see the comparisons between Zouma and Marcel Desailly even if it's still early days to make such judgments and comparisons at this point in Zouma's career. He has future captain material written all over him and with John Terry mentoring him he couldn't be in better hands.

I've under appreciated Oscar in the past but he made our midfield look sharp today. Fabregas and Hazard played good games (a far cry from the last few weeks) so that was a real positive but there's still plenty of improvement left in these boys. I hope Pedro's wayward kicking at goal was an aberration and he'll get back to his best sooner rather than later.

Very pleasing victory by the boys and I feel like the season has now started! The first five games in my mind was a sign of a team who was lacking hunger and motivation after last season's long campaign and in the process they were not 100% physically fit after a late pre-season start, but after much criticism and concern the boys have finally stood up and are ready to get this campaign rolling. In terms of winning the EPL title, the pressure is off us now as no one expects it to happen but I can't wait to see us chase it down to the best of our ability hopefully.

Still not Foxtels fault ESPN lost their contract. If you were smart you'd put that $100 toward Bein Sports. I've got every CL game live through Bein Connect. That's something ESPN couldn't do.
