Thank god I haven't been able to watch many games this season due to work. Unfortunately that didn't extend to last night's shitfest. Honestly, I'm just tired of seeing Chelsea play like shit. I can only remember one match this entire year that we dominated and that was way back in February. And don't tell me that's the Mourinho way because for the first half of last season the club played some beautiful football and that's what set up the entire title win.

I'm so tired of seeing us play the same boring football game after game. The results are no longer making up for the complete lack of excitement in watching the team play. The West Brom game last season was the catalyst for this, IMO. It's been all down hill since then.

I'd love to just blame Jose for the shitty form but i can't. Last night you could see the difference in effort between Willian & Dave Vs the rest of the starting 11. They just don't care.

I know Begovic is not the problem - far from it. But we need Courtois back. Like he's just such a commanding presence at the back and seemingly a really good leader too. Think his value to the team is probably understated a little.

But yeah, lot more issues than that atm. The team certainly is looking bereft of any belief.... Pretty demoralising to watch, all we can do is hope that it turns around quickly.

Azpilicueta IMO should win our next player of the season. He deserves it.

Underrated part of being a good keeper is communication with the defenders in front of you. While only watching on T.V, it seems that Asmir probably doesn't have the confidence yet to yell and scream at his teammates like most good keepers do.

So according to Dan Levene (pretty reliable when it comes to Chelsea) Jose will be sacked after the Stoke match coming up- win/lose/draw. No word on whose replacing him. I hear Carlo and Guus are available though...

Can't say im suprised, extremely dissapointed but not suprised.

The doom and gloom is oh so overbearing, but just thought I'd offer up something to inspire a modicum of joy to us.

Willian has become a seriously great league player after a patchy few years. God knows where we'd be without him and Azpi.

I really like the look of Kenedy, and found it staggering he was moved to LB when Falcao came on. Ken looked like the only one capable of providing a spark, seriously hope he, RLC and Baba all start against Stoke.

...and that's it.

Willian has been so good through our dark period, seen footage of him limping after games. If only the other guys put in that effort.

He is also very good a driving cars with a controller. :p

Munich mind-games

So, Chelsea had made it to European football's showpiece occasion – but after another staunch defensive performance they trailed 1-0 in the 83rd minute against Bayern Munich to Thomas Muller's goal.

Drogba would go on to net the 88th-minute equaliser before scoring the decisive penalty in the shootout – but the Chelsea talisman was already convinced the game was up for his side until team-mate Juan Mata stepped in.

He says: 'As I replaced the ball on the centre spot for the re-start, I was just saying "No, no, no!" But Juan Mata, all of 24 years old, was the one to urge me on. "No, Didier", he said, "you have to believe, you have to believe".'

As Mata lined up the corner from which Drogba would head in the late leveller, the striker could hear centre back David Luiz telling Bastian Schweinsteiger, now of Manchester United: 'Just watch, we're going to score now,' before he fulfilled his colleague's prophecy.

More psychological toying was at work when Arjen Robben missed a penalty that could have decided the game in extra-time. Drogba and Lampard told their former team-mate: 'Arjen, you're a Chelsea player, you can't do this! Don't do it! Anyway, we'll know where you're going to shoot.'

It worked. Drogba says: 'We got inside his head, definitely, because his kick was weak – definitely weaker than it would normally have been – and Petr saved it.'
Torres's struggles

Fernando Torres is still widely regarded as English football's most expensive flop after he finally left Chelsea for a nominal fee last season, four years on from his £50m move from Liverpool.

Drogba, who was often a direct competitor of the Spaniard, sympathises with the pressure of expectations placed on Torres' shoulders – but also says it was difficult for him to make the step up at Stamford Bridge.

In words that might rile a few fans at Anfield, the striker writes: 'With all due respect to Liverpool, at that club, Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres had been the kings. At Chelsea, there were 22 kings.'
What a legend :D:D:D

Anyone have a copy of his autobiography Commitment: Didier Drogba?

I bought a copy today and it's a great read. I only just started reading it this evening but it gives you a real insight into what he had to go through in order to get to where he is now.

Definitely recommend it if you get a chance.
