According to the radio (I haven't heard it, but the rumour is going around) Cuddly Pete Kenyon will be leaving Man United to go to Chelski.

The radio is also reporting that Kenyon is a City fan.

The first bit of news should please a few on here, the second just a bit of trivia.

Not sure of the reliability, but here is your latest Chelski rumour.

The report here at 4thegame.com makes it sound pretty certain.

I don't know what to make of it. I'm undecided on how I think he's done at OT, but it is concerning that he can be bought from us in this manner. At least Martin Edwards could never have been bought by another club - if Kenyon isn't a loyal chairman, he can p*ss off anyway.

Does this mean we get Ken Bates!? ;)

Yep, it's official, Kenyon has resigned from his position at Manchester United with immediate effect and has been replaced by David Gill...

I now look forward to Chelsea selling players for very low costs and buying them at much more than they really truly cost (not that they are not already doing that).

Yep, he's gone.

Kenyon played the politics well to take over from Fartin' Martin Edwards. He pretty much kept the fans happy by keeping the transfer fee funds flowing, but as Clucas pointed out, we did pay over the odds for a number of players.

Funniest thing I've read today.

Does the name "Knighton" mean anything to you?

How about the name "Murdoch"?

Fartin' Martin always wanted to sell out of United - the only thing that stopped him was sheer luck in the first situation and the activism of the United fans in the second.
