Really? I always thought Funny Farm was one of he weakest outings. "Sheep Balls!" Was a memorable moment, but not much else.

That was the funniest scene in the film, the rest of it was pretty average though.

I remember being so excited when I saw Funny Farm in the bargain DVD bin for about $6, had good memories of it as a kid. Bought it, went straight home to watch it with the wife, and was thoroughly unamused. Even at $6 I felt like I overpaid.

For me he'll always be Clark Griswold. A great set of flicks and a timeless character. Was great to see him as Pierce Hawthorne too while it lasted, even if he didn't quite enjoy it.

I thought he was named after the bank.

According to wiki he was named after this old English ballad by his grandmother.

Anyone watched A Stupid and Futile Gesture on Netflix? It's about the guys who made National Lampoon Magazine. Joel McHale does a pretty good Chevy, despite not looking like him (and the film addressed this pretty cleverly as well).
i started it but got busy doing stuff, will finish it

The only thing I've really laughed at regarding Chevy Chase, was watching him get carved up by Dame Edna

Yep....Couldn't agree more....Totally talent-less vacuous flog.

Proof of just how dumb Americans are.

He did spend 3 and half years doing a show with him so I guess he got some good insight.

Saw this come up the other night and added it to the list.:thumbsu:

No love for Foul Play or Seems Like Old Times here? I was a fan of both as a kid. Hard to go past Caddyshack and the Fletch movies though. The first two vacation films were good but it got pretty shite after that for me.
