Considering all we heard was Embley, Embley, Embley it seems a good deal for Hawthorn, and more importantly chick, who needs to be over there.

I'll laugh my socks off if Chick outperforms Headland next year, which is quite likely.

Not quite sure of the relevance of the Carey deal. How is pick #20 and pick #4 four times (??) as much as pick #10? And is Chick as good a player as Carey? I don't think so.

Very happy with getting Chick, but obviously disappointed we've now got bugger all chance of getting Des.

But to get Des would have cost Wirra as well.

So if the choice was Des darting around through the guts or Wirra and Chick, I'm happy to take the latter.

Now let's get something for Embley. PLEASE!

Headlands best (this year) is better than Chicks best (a couple of years ago).

Is there actually any confirmation this has gone ahead?

Nothing on the AFL site or West Coast site to suggest that this deal has been completed as of yet.

The only thing on it is SPECULATION on the AFL site that Chick is SET TO move to West Coast. Not that he actually has yet.
